V3C3: Mission Interuption

I woke up to someone shaking me vigorously.

I blinked and saw it was Luna.

She seemed concerned.

Luna: Wolfgang! Wolfgang! Wake up please!

I brushed her hand away

Me: Whats wrong?

Luna: Theres something outside...

Me: And why did you wake me up out of all people?

Luna: I wanted to keep it to a minimum.

I sighed

Me: Whats out there?

I stood up to get my coat and weapons

Luna: Forget that. Your weapons might take to long.

Then she threw me one of her pistols.

I caught it and we stepped outside.

We looked around.

Me: See Luna. Nothins there.

Luna: Then what was that-

Then I saw what she heard.

The Beowulf Alpha swung and I threw myself into Luna to push her out of the way.

We then turned around and lit into the alpha and it disintegrated.

I got up and lifted Luna up.

Then everyone came out of they're tent with weapons drawn.

Riley: Whats goin on!?

Me: Its good! Its good. All clear.

Reven: What was it?

Me: A lone alpha.

Rekar: Sure about that lone part?

Me: Well has the camp been torn down yet?

Rekar: True.

Me: You all can go back to sleep.

We got some short lived dirty looks but they eventually went back inside.

Me and Luna went back into our tent but I was caught off gaurd when she started throwing her coat on.

Me: What are you doing?

Luna: Going for a walk. Wanna join?

I shrugged and grabbed my coat and threw it on.

I had no idea what she was up to.

We started walking down the path a bit.

I was still dark but the stars helped us see our way.

Me: So what is it your trying to do out here?

Luna: I like looking at the stars. Thats what I was trying to do begore that Beo charged me.

Me: Ah.

She smiled

Me: So you really think I'm impressive? Or is that just you being polite?

Luna: No! I honestly enjoyed watching you fight. It was magnificent.

She stretched a bit and I heard the clicking of her mechanical arm.

Me: So... About that arm? How did you... You know...?

Luna: We are not going over that.

Me: Right.

Then all of a sudden, she stopped.
