*The Next Night*
The growl Riley's truck was almost sleep inducing.
I never knew what was it with people and sleeping in cars.
Tonight was the night of the dance and I was pretty nervous.
I had never been too big on this stuff, but it was Zofia that got me to go to them.
Riley: So you ready for your date?
I sighed
Me: Yeah. Nervous but ready. What about you?
Riley: Havin a heart attack just about now.
Me: Haven't you dated like five girls?
Riley: Yes, but they were all whores.
Me: No its just you cant keep a stable love life.
Riley: Whores, I tell you!
I laughed and he punched me in the arm.
I decided to screw with him.
Me: Both hands on the wheel, man!
Riley: Seriously? Your the one who jumped off a bridge to land on a motorbike that was going over a hundred miles per hour on a busy highway while chasing a mech.
I decided not to screw with him.
We eventually got back to Beacon for the dance.
We stepped out of the truck and went to the front door.
When we got to reception, I was surprised to see Yang in a white dress.
Yang: Wolfgang! I'm suprised you actually showed up!
Me: Well I have a date, so why wouldn't I?
Yang: Oooooo. Who's the lucky girl? I'd say Riley but he's not so lucky.
Riley: Wait...
Me: Coco Adel.
Riley: What's that even supposed to mean?
Yang: Never knew you liked rich girls.
Riley: Were you calling me...?
Me: Well I'm not into her for her fortune.
Riley: I'm... Confused...
Yang: Aw that's sweet! Then what are you into her for? Her ass?
Riley: You just...
Me: Language!
Yang: Heh, sorry! You sound like Dad.
Riley: Girl talk...?
Me: He wears off on me. What can I say?
Riley: Wait! You called me a girl!
I slapped the back of his head.
Me: Great job ya moron, ya figured it out! C'mon, lets get out there.
Riley: You and your stupid sisters...
We went into the dance room and looked around for our dates.
Well more like Riley was looking for his because Coco texted me and said she would be about twenty minutes late.
Something about getting ready.
Should've expected that.
Me: So did Zak and Izaiah show up?
Riley: Nope. They said they aren't coming, because, and I quote, Izaiahs too tall to get a dance and Zaks too short to get a dance.
Me: Hah! Should've seen that coming.
