*Two Days Later*
Crowd: VALE!!! VALE!!! VALE!!!
Half of everyone in the crowd was cheering for me as I stepped out into the open arena.
The stars in the sky combined with the lights was almost blinding.
Riley was behind me.
Riley: This is it. You win, your the champion. He wins... Well... At least they give medals for second...
I looked around at the packed arena.
Some people were even holding signs that read out chants and motivations.
I haven't felt this cheered on in...
Well...
Never!
I was pumped.
Riley: Now the guy your about to face is the same guy whos won the Vytal Tournament three times in a row. Theres a low chance that you actually-
Me: Riley.
I looked back at him.
Me: Relax. I got this.
Riley just smirked.
Port: Two minutes until our contestants step out onto arena!
I exhaled.
Me: Man. This is it, huh?
Riley: Yeah. Its goin down for real.
Then someone walked up behind us.
It was Coco, followed by the very shy Velvet
Coco: Hey you two!
Riley: Coco. Vel.
Velvet: H-hi...
Coco: Wolfgang. I just want to wish you good luck one last time.
She took a step closer and reached for her neck.
She took off a silver chain necklace and put it around my neck.
Coco: Do good out there.
Then she gave me a kiss on the cheek and stepped away.
She gave a cute smile and walked off.
Velvet and Riley were still talking.
Coco: Vel!
Velvet: Oh! Coming!
She ran off to join her leader.
I turned towards the arena.
Port: Will the contestents come to the platform?
I stepped outside and the crowd got louder.
I stepped onto my end of the platform.
Then my opponent came into veiw.
He was much taller than me and was clad head to toe in steel armour that had a demonic fantasy feel to it.
His blade was massive and had a handle that was almost as long as the blade.
The armour had clear crystals embedded in certain places.
Dust, maybe?
Oobleck: We have our two final contestents! Wolfgang Branwen! A third year Beacon student that has shown remarkable feats in situations that left him outnumbered! He is know for taking down the Draconis Airship stolen from Atlas by the Wolf Bandit gang towards the end of last year!
