I woke up with a terrible pain in my chest.
I coughed and looked around.
The room was that of a hospitals.
There was a massive bandage wrapped around my stomach and a flat device on where my left lung is.
I also had an IV hooked into my wrist.
There were five others in the room.
Ruby, Yang, Izaiah, Zak, and Riley.
Zak was the newest member of the team.
He was added after the end of last years tournament, as he was a Vacuoan transfer.
He was the shortest of the group and was also a jaguar faunus.
He had two black ears sticking out above his head.
Zak: He's waking!
I tried to sit up, but it hurt.
Riley: Woah woah. Lay down.
I obliged.
Ruby and Yang approached my bedside.
I smirked at them.
Me: Hey... Rubes...
My voice came out raspy.
Me: And... Firecracker...
Yang rolled her eyes with a smile.
Yang: Wolf. How do you feel?
Me: Who cares? How are you... Doing?
She frowned.
Yang: You need to care for yourself more.
Me: Whatever. Whats my diagnoses?
Riley: Is that even the right word?
Izaiah: You were hit in the lung. It almost imploded, but the hospital managed to fix it. The rest is healing under that device.
Riley: Try not to strain your voice.
I sighed.
Me: Did we catch that bastard?
Riley: No, unfortunately. It was team RKAR that managed to drive him off and save your life.
Me: Huh. Tell 'em I said thanks.
I started to cough again.
Ruby: Stop speaking so loud. Your going to hurt yourself.
Yang: Yeah Wolfy they're gonna want you back out onto the field as fast as they can get you.
Me: What about your guys initiation?
Yang: We made it through. We didn't hear about who got shot until a few days after the incident. You've been under for two weeks. Thats why we didn't come sooner.
Me: Oh shit...
Yang: No cursing. Ruby's here.
Me: Yeah...
Then the door opened and Ozpin walked in.
Ozpin: Wolfgang.
His voice was stern.
Me: Ozpin. Whats up?
Ozpin: We have managed to get a piece of evidence on who's watching you.
Me: Trying to kill me, you mean?
Ozpin nodded.
He walked towards me and handed me something.
It was a silver bullet.
