Friday Night Bites part 1

Bonnie: "Listen, I'm not saying don't date the guy, I'm just saying take it slow." She says as her, Jaylan, and Elena get out of her car
Elena: "You are the one who said to go for it."
Bonnie: "Now, I'm saying take it slow."
Elena: "Why the about-face?"
Bonnie: "It's not an about-face. You're single for the first time in high school. It's the perfect time to play the field."
Elena: "Oh, because I'm so that girl. Seriously, what are you not saying?"
Bonnie: "It's stupid."
Elena: "Bonnie."
Bonnie: "What?"
Elena: "Spit it out."
Jaylan: "She accidentally touched Stefan and got a really bad feeling." She says spitting it out making Bonnie smack her arm
Elena: "Is that it? Bonnie." She says as Bonnie tries to leave
Bonnie: It was "bad" bad."
Elena: "Is this the witch-mojo thing again?"
Bonnie: "Know what? I'm just concerned. This is me expressing concern about my best friend's new boyfriend."
Elena: "And I love you for it. I do. But I feel good. It's been a hard year and I'm starting to kind of feel like things are getting back to normal again. And you know what? Stefan is a big part of that." She says as Bonnie nods her head and Stefan walks over
Stefan: "Morning, Elena. Morning, Bonnie. Morning Jaylan."
Jaylan: "Hello." She says waving at him
Bonnie: "Hey, um, I gotta find Caroline. She's not answering her phone, so see you guys." She says quickly walking away
Elena: "Bonnie, wait."
Stefan: "She doesn't like me very much."
Elena: "She doesn't know you. She's my best friend. She's just looking out for me, but when she does, she will love you."
Jaylan: "It's more that she thinks something is off with you but..." she says shrugging her shoulders as Elena smacks her arm hard "Ow. What you know it's true."
Elena: "You're not supposed to say it though."
Jaylan: "Whatever." She says as they walk towards the school together
Elena: "Here's what we're gonna do. Are you free tonight?"
Stefan: "Yes."
Elena: "Perfect. Dinner, my house, 8:00. You, me, Jaylan and Bonnie. You two will spend some quality time. She'll see what a great guy you are. Mission accomplished. And if it gets awkward Jaylan here is a good buffer." She says putting her arm around Jaylan's shoulder
Jaylan: "Why would I want to go to this thing?"
Elena: "It's free food and possible drama."
Jaylan: "I'm in." She says and then out of nowhere Stefan turns around catching a football that Tyler threw at his head shocking Elena, Jaylan, Tyler, and Matt. Stefan throws it back to him almost knocking Tyler to the ground "Nice one." She says patting his shoulder with her mouth open

Tanner: "World War II ended in? Anyone got anything? Ms.Juan? 1945."
Elena: "Psst. FYI, our team sucks. They could use you." She says whispering to him
Tanner: "Pearl Harbor."
Stefan: "Can't, I'm a loner."
Tanner: "Nothing? Miss Gilbert Ahem. Pearl Harbor. Hm?" He says breaking up her conversation with Stefan
Elena: "Um-"
Stefan: "December 7th, 1941."
Tanner: "Thank you, Miss Gilbert."
Stefan: "Anytime."
Tanner: "Very well. The fall of the Berlin Wall."
Stefan: "1989. I'm good with dates, sir."
Tanner: "Are you? How good? Keep it to the year. Civil Rights Act. John F. Kennedy assassination."
Stefan: "1963."
Tanner: "Martin Luther King."
Stefan: "68."
Tanner: "Lincoln."
Stefan: "1865." He says making everyone look at him impressed
Tanner: "Roe v. Wade?"
Stefan: "1973."
Tanner: "Brown v. Board?"
Stefan: "1954."
Tanner: "The Battle of Gettysburg."
Stefan: "1863."
Tanner: "Korean War."
Stefan: "1950 to 1953."
Tanner: "Ha! It ended in '52. Ha-ha-ha." He yells out excitedly
Stefan: Uh, actually, sir, it was '53."
Tanner: "Look it up. Somebody. Quickly."
Jaylan: "Well, what do you know. It was 1953." She says holding up her phone shaking it. Tanner looks embarrassed and goes over to the front of the class as Jaylan turns around to face Stefan "What's it gonna take to convince you to do my homework?" She whispers to him making him chuckle a little
