Elena: "Hello? Jeremy? Hello?
Logan: "This is Logan Fell coming to you live from Mystic Falls with breaking news of another deadly animal attack. The wild animal terrorizing citizens has claimed another victim local high school student, Elena Gilbert. Police are certain that evidence will confirm that this is the same animal responsible for recent attacks."
Damon: "You know what's coming next. Bad dream?" He asks after seeing Stefan jump up from the nightmare of Elena getting attacked by Damon "Do you know how easy it was to get into your head just now? You really need some human blood. It might even the playing field. Football reference. Too soon?" He asks as Stefan throws a knife to his chest "All right, I deserve that. But I just wanted to let you know, they caught the culprit. The animal responsible for killing Tanner and all those people."
Stefan: "What are you talking about?"
Damon: "A mountain lion. Really big one. It attacked a hunter this morning. It's all over the news. "Deadly beast captured. All's well in Mystic Falls."
Stefan: "Why would you cover your tracks?"
Damon: "I've decided to stay a while. And I'm having fun here with you and Jaylan."
Stefan: "Can't touch her now."
Damon: "The vervain keeps me out of her head. Maybe that's not my target. Believe it or not, Stefan, some girls don't need my persuasion. Some girls just can't resist my good looks my style and my charm and my unflinching ability to listen to Taylor Swift." He says before stabbing Stefan with the same knife "This is John Varvatos, dude. Dick move." He says looking at the stain and hole in his shirt

Sheriff: "I can confirm that a puma attacked a hunter and was subsequently killed. The hunter is in stable condition." The sheriff says on the tv
Logan: "To repeat, the animal terrorizing Mystic Falls has been caught."
Jenna: "Scum ball. Scum bucket." She says as Elena comes downstairs and Jaylan looks at her like she's crazy
Elena: "Who are you talking to?"
Jenna: "Him."
Logan: "Including tomorrow night's-"
Jaylan: "The news guy?" She asks confused
Jenna: "Also known as Logan "Scum" Fell. Did your mom tell you why I moved away from Mystic Falls?" She says looking at Elena
Elena: "Oh, no way. You and him?"
Logan: "Logan Fell-"
Jaylan: "He's cute." She says after looking at him on the tv
Jenna: "He is not cute. There's nothing cute about him."
Jaylan: "What are you doing with that?" She asks seeing the box next to Elena
Elena: "I went yesterday. I got it from the safe deposit box. Mom told Mrs. Lockwood she would loan it to the Founder's Council for their heritage display."
Jenna: "Is that Grandma Beth's wedding ring?"
Elena: "Originally, it was Great-Great-Grandma Mary's wedding ring."
Jaylan: "So interesting." She says sarcastically while looking at her phone
Jeremy: "How much do you think this stuff is worth, like, on eBay?" He asks picking something up
Elena: "You're not gonna find out."
Jeremy: "That stuff is Mom and Dad's. You can't give it away."
Elena: "I'm not giving it away. It's called a loan, Jeremy." She says as the doorbell rings

Bonnie: "You're taking Damon to the Founder's Party? What about us?" She asks motioning to herself and Jaylan
Caroline: "Go with each other." She says shrugging
Bonnie: "Gee, thanks. What about your mom? Is she okay with you bringing Damon?"
Caroline: "And I'm supposed to care why?
Bonnie: "He's Older, Sexy, Danger Guy." She says making Jaylan snicker
Caroline: "Older, Sexy, Danger Guy? Is that an official witch Twitter tweet?"
Bonnie: "No more witch jokes, okay? That Mr. Tanner prediction thing has me freaked."
Caroline: "Okay." She says holding her hands up "And Damon's not dangerous. You know, he just has a lot of issues with his brother. You know, like major, deep-rooted drama."
Jaylan: "Like?" She asks motioning for her to keep going
Caroline: "I'm not really supposed to say anything."
Jaylan: "Caroline Forbes, when have you ever kept a secret in your life? Especially from me?"
Caroline: "Okay. But you can't tell Elena."
Both: "No." they say shaking their heads as Caroline continues
