Damon is walking through the hospital when he rounds a corner and sees a nurse holding a bandage to his wrist making him chuckle a little at it. He gets to a door and knocks on it hearing some shuffling before he just walks in
Damon: "Are you feasting on the nursing staff?" He asks Jaylan making her sigh out and drops the act sitting up in bed Jaylan: "He offered," she says shrugging "Besides there's nothing else to do except lay in this uncomfortable bed and watch cheesy tv." Damon: "You gotta a little." He says pointing to a spot on the corner of his mouth making her wipe the blood off her face Jaylan: "What are you doing here?" Damon: "Visiting the injured. Bought you something from the gift shop" He says throwing her the get well soon bear that was in his hands "And also to fill you in on what's happening." Jaylan: "What do you mean?" She asks looking up from the teddy bear Damon: "Oh just that Katherine declared war tonight at the masquerade ball." Jaylan: "What!?" Damon: "Yeah. Pity you can't be there. Seeing you in dresses is always a highlight." Jaylan: "Why does she want a war?" She asks rolling her eyes getting back on the topic Damon: "It's Katherine. Causing chaos gives her a certain high. For this reason in particular she wants the moonstone. She's running scared. Killing Mason threw her off guard. What she did to Jenna or I guess you was done out of desperation." He says sitting next to her on the bed Jaylan: "So I'm assuming you guys have a plan." Damon: "Yeah. I'm gonna go to the ball, and I'm gonna kill her." Jaylan: "Really? Just like that?" She asks in disbelief Damon: "Yeah. Little known fact I've killed before." Jaylan: "But those were people you considered casualties or a threat to you. This is someone you've spent 145 years loving." Damon: "145 years too long. I've had it. I won't hesitate." He says as she nods and drops it Jaylan: "Just kinda sucks. Things are going down and I can't even be there." Damon: "I'm glad you won't be there. Can't let this pretty face get hurt." He says caressing her face a little

After Damon leaves the others come to help take Jaylan home
Matt: "Easy. Okay. Grab the door, Jer." He says helping Jaylan into the house as everyone follows behind them Jaylan: "Okay, stop fussing. I'm fine." Elena: "The doctor said to take it easy." Jeremy: "You don't wanna rip your stitches, hemorrhage and die." He says as she looks at him with an amused look Jaylan: "The only thing I'm gonna die from is embarrassment." Matt: "No." Jaylan: "I walked into a knife." Jenna: "I'm so sorry about that. I don't how that could've happened." She says guiltily Jaylan: "Jenna it's okay. It was my own fault." Elena: "It was just a freak accident." Jeremy: "Yeah. It happens." Matt: "Yeah, I mean, I've done it like 20 times at the Grill" He says making Jaylan laugh but then she groans pretending to be in pain "Okay, I'm being nice." Jeremy: "Hey, careful." He says as they lay her down on the couch Matt: "All right. Easy. What should I do with this?" He says holding the bag full of gifts she got Elena: "I got it." Jenna: "Are you comfortable? Do you need anything?" She asks frantic Jaylan: "I need for you to relax" she says making her take a deep breath "Okay. I know you didn't mean it. Besides the doctor says that I'm gonna heal up nice and well. And eventually this will just be something we'll look back and laugh at." Jeremy: "I'll be back." He says coming out of the kitchen leaving the house
