Know Thy Enemy

Jenna: "You knew she was still alive? And Ric? John? Did they know?" Jaylan hears from downstairs waking her up
Elena: "I can explain everything, Jenna."
Jenna: "No." she says running up the stairs
Elena: "No. Jenna, please. Jenna, please. Wait. Jenna. Jenna, please wait" she says as she slams her door in her face and locks it "Jenna, you have to talk to me. I need to explain what's going on. Jenna, please, I-"
Jaylan: "Hey" she whispers opening her door trying not to wake Brielle "What's going on?"
Elena: "Isobel just showed up at the front doorstep."
Jaylan: "What? Why?"
Elena: "I don't know. She told Jenna she was my mother and that we met before." she says crying a little making Jaylan's eyes widen
Jaylan: "Are you serious?" she asks as Elena nods and goes back to trying to get Jenna to open the door

Alaric: "Hey, is she up yet?" he asks the next morning when Elena opens the door
Jaylan: "She won't come out of her room."
Alaric: "What did you tell her?"
Elena: "Nothing. She won't talk to me."
Alaric: "We're gonna have to fix this, Elena."
Elena: "Yeah." she says as Jenna comes downstairs making them all stand up straight
Jaylan: "Hey."
Alaric: "Jenna."
Jenna: "I don't want you here, Ric. You need to go." she says not looking at any of them putting stuff in her bag
Alaric: "Listen, I can't begin to imagine what you must be feeling right now."
Jenna: "Rage and betrayal would cover it."
Jaylan: "Where are you going?"
Jenna: "I'm going to stay on campus. I have a thesis to write and I don't wanna be in this house."
Alaric: "Jenna, please, just stop. Let us explain to you exactly what is going on."
Jenna: "Elena I need you to go to the Lockwood's today. Accept the Historical Society's check for your mom's foundation."
Elena: "Okay, but Jenna, please just-"
Jenna: "I don't have it in me to hear any more lies from you." she says before closing the door
Elena: "Jenna, just-" she goes to follow her but is interrupted 
John: "Let her go. It's better that she's not here with everything that's going on. Maybe had you been a little more honest with her from the beginning, this-" he says but gets caught off as Alaric punches him
Jaylan: "Nice." she mutters smiling at him
Alaric: "Sorry, Elena." he says before leaving
Jaylan: "You know this is your fault, right?" she smirks at him
John: "Right." he sighs

Later on Stefan came by and John gets Jaylan from her room before going over to Elena's

John: "Elena, can you come downstairs, please? I need to talk to you."
Elena: "I have nothing to say to you."
John: "Please. It's important. You too, Stefan." he says as they walk downstairs and see Isobel standing in the hallway
Isobel: "I asked John for a do-over."
Elena: "You invited her in?"
Jaylan: "That wasn't your call to make." she says glaring at him
John: "She has information about Klaus. Please, just listen to her, okay?"
Stefan: "All right. What do you know?" he asks as they move into the kitchen
Isobel: "Since I was last here, I've been doing everything possible to find Klaus. We knew our best chance was to find him before he could find you."
Jaylan: "Best chance at what?"
John: "Keeping Elena alive."
Elena: "You don't get to talk, okay? Not after everything you've done."
Stefan: "Were you able to find Klaus?" he asks sighing
Isobel: "No. Nobody knows where he is."
Jaylan: "So you being here is just pointless. Got it."
Isobel: "But there are these rumors that are flying around that a doppelganger exists." she says getting back on topic
John: "Which means any vampire that wants to get in favor with Klaus will be lining up to capture you."
Elena: "I'm not buying any of this. The last time that you were here, you made it clear didn't give a damn about me. Now all of a sudden I'm supposed to believe you wanna help?"
John: "Isobel's been helping all along. Klaus has been obsessed with finding Katherine for centuries. All it would take was any one of those 1864 tomb vampire to spread the word around that Katherine was alive and it would bring him here to Mystic Falls where you were bound to be discovered. So we killed them."
Jaylan: "And almost killed Stefan, Damon, and I in the process." she glares again making him flinch a little at her look
John: "Yeah."
Isobel: "I have a safe house that I can take you to. The deed is in your name. No vampires can get in without your permission. Not even me. Let me help you."
Elena: "You wanna help? Then get the hell out of my house." she says watching as she leaves
