Damon: "Hello, Elena." He says opening the door for her and Jaylan
Elena: "Stefan here? He called. Said it was important."
Damon: "Right this way," he says letting them in "Hello you." He says to Jaylan pulling her into his arms giving her a kiss making her smile at him
Elena: "So are you two like together now or something?" She asks looking at them weirdly
Jaylan: "Uh." She stutters not knowing what to say looking at him
Damon: "We haven't talked about it yet. Spent most of the time exploring each other's mouths." He says making Jaylan smack him in the chest
Elena: "This is so weird." She breathes out before walking over to where Stefan is standing
Stefan: "Hey."
Elena: "What is this about?" She asks as a woman comes from behind Stefan around the corner "You."
Jaylan: "Who is she?" She whispers to Damon
Damon: "Rose. The one who kidnapped Elena to try to bargain her over for freedom." He whispers back making her nod her head and they all move to the living room
Rose: "Okay, you have to understand I only know what I've picked up over the years. And I don't know what's true and what's not true. That's the problem with all of this vampire crap. But Klaus I know is real." She says pacing in front of them
Jaylan: "Who is he?"
Damon: "He's one of the originals. He's a legend." He says from behind the chair she's sitting in
Stefan: "From the first generation of vampires."
Elena: "Like Elijah."
Rose: "No, Elijah was the Easter bunny compared to Klaus. He's a foot soldier. Klaus is the real deal."
Stefan: "Klaus is known to be the oldest."
Elena: "Okay, so you're saying that the oldest vampire in the history of time is coming after me?"
Rose: "Yes."
Stefan: "No." They say together
Damon: "What there saying is—I mean, if what she's saying is true-" He says going to stand next to Rose
Rose: "Which it is." She interrupts him
Damon: "And you're not saying this so we don't kill you?"
Rose: "Which I'm not."
Damon: "Then we're looking at a solid maybe."
Stefan: "But, Elijah's dead, right? So no one else even knows that she exists." She says pointing to Elena
Rose: "Not that you know of."
Damon: "That's not helping."
Stefan: "Look I've never even met anyone who's laid eyes on him. I mean, we're talking centuries of truth mixed with fiction. We don't know what's real. For all, we know He could be some stupid bedtime story."
Rose: "He's real. And he doesn't give up. If he wants something, he gets it. If you're not afraid of Klaus then you're an idiot."
Damon: "All right, we're shaking. You made your point." He says as Elena grabs her bag standing up
Stefan: "Where are you going?"
Elena: "School. We're late." She says pointing over at Jaylan
Jaylan: "Were always late." She mutters to her
Stefan: "Let me uh-let me grab my stuff. I'll go with you guys." He says standing up but she stops him
Elena: "That's okay. We know where it is. Jaylan." She says sternly making Jaylan sigh and grab her bag
Damon: "She's in denial."
Stefan: "Shut up, Damon." He says as Jaylan walks past them going out with Elena

Elena: "Tell everyone I wasn't feeling well and I went home from school. Jaylan ditches all the time so no one should question her absence." She says to Caroline as the three of them walk in the woods
Caroline: "I can't believe I'm agreeing to this. I'm a terrible liar."
Elena: "And keep Stefan busy. I don't want him knowing what I'm up to."
Caroline: "I'm even worse at duplicity. And you know this."
Elena: "You managed to keep me occupied when Katherine paid Stefan a visit."
Caroline: "Yeah, because she threatened me," she says as Jaylan goes to open her mouth but Caroline stops her "Not that I'm saying that you should use that as a tactic. It's Stefan's gonna see through me."
Elena: "Caroline, as my friend, do you promise or not?"
Caroline: "You had to break out the girlfriend code. Okay. I promise." She says sighing as they reach the entrance to the tomb
Elena: "Okay."
Jaylan: "Why don't you want Stefan to know?" She asks as they go down the stairs
Elena: "Because he would never be okay with me doing this."
Jaylan: "Are you sure you wanna do this?"
Elena: "Yes. I'm sure. She's the only one who knows the truth about Klaus who can tell me how to stop him."
Caroline: "But you're asking for the truth from someone who's probably never given it. Are you sure about this?"
Elena: "Yes, I can't just sit back and wait. I have to know, Caroline. Please." She says as Jaylan and Caroline look at each other nodding before they move the door out the way and they stand there waiting for Katherine to come out
Jaylan: "Here kitty kitty" She calls into the tomb making Elena smack her arm "What?" She asks leaning against one side of the tomb
Elena: "Katherine?"She says as they watch her walk into the light slowly
Jaylan: "Woah," She says looking at Katherine "This is freaky." She then looks between her and Elena in awe
Elena: "I'll be okay from here." She says looking at Caroline
Katherine: "Hello, Elena. You come to watch me wither away? Goodbye, Caroline."
Elena: "As long as I stay on this side of the door, she can't hurt me. Please." She says looking at the two as they go to walk away
Jaylan: "I'll be outside if you need me." She says following Caroline as they listen in to what the other two are talking about
Katherine: "Stefan know you're here?" They hear as they go to the top
Elena: "I brought you some things."
Katherine: "You came to bribe me. What is it that you want?"
Elena: "I want you to tell me about Klaus."
Katherine: "Hmm. You've been busy."
Caroline: "Okay I'm off to occupy Stefan. What are you gonna do?"
Jaylan: "Hang out here. Eavesdrop. Hopefully not waste half of my day."
Caroline: "You could always come help me with Stefan." She says pleadingly
Jaylan: "You got this. Okay." She says putting her hands on her shoulders
Caroline: "What if I don't."
Jaylan: "You give yourself little credit. You can be devious when you wanna be" She says making her smile before she pushes her forward "Now go. Before people start asking questions."
