Jeremy: "I can't believe Tyler Lockwood's a werewolf." He says as him, Elena, and Jaylan are standing in front of the bathroom mirror Elena: "We're not sure about that yet." She says sighing Jaylan: "The only thing we know for sure is that Mason Lockwood is." Jeremy: "That should be easy enough for us to figure out." Jaylan: "There's an us now?" She asks while brushing her teeth Elena: "There is no us. I said that I wouldn't keep things from you anymore. That doesn't mean that I want you involved in it." Jeremy: "By definition of being in this family, I'm involved." Jaylan: "This is dangerous, Jeremy." He says spitting her toothpaste out Elena: "You have to stay out of it, okay?" Jeremy: "All right. Just saying." He says as they all go into their own rooms
Carol: "This is part of the Historical Society's continuing efforts to give back to the community. Thanks to the generous donation of the Fell family we are now standing on the site of our newest public park. Thank you to everyone who has shown up today to lend a helping hand. Thanks." She says into the mic as everyone is walking around doing different activities
Caroline: "So suddenly, she's in the running for Mother of the Year just when I'm trying to avoid her the most. I'm babbling. You don't wanna hear all this." She says as the three girls carry paint over to a stand Elena: "Oh, um, no, sorry." Jaylan: "Then what happened?" Caroline: "Well, I was a bitch, which is par for the course with us. So how are things with you and Stefan? Anything?" Elena: "No, not since the fight. He's been pushing me away because he thinks that Katherine might get jealous enough to hurt me. I just don't know how to change his mind." Caroline: "You said that Katherine's dangerous." Jaylan: "Maybe he's got a point." She says shrugging her shoulders Elena: "Yeah, I know that she's dangerous and I know that he's just trying to protect me, but it feels like giving up. And I just-" Caroline: "Just what?" Elena: "I just thought that we were stronger than that." She says as the other two looks at her with sympathy
Caroline: "Uh-oh. Longing looks are being exchanged." She says as they paint the area and Elena stares at Stefan who's standing away from them Elena: "I'm gonna go talk to him." Caroline: "No, Elena, I think it's a bad idea." She says but Elena just ignores her and Damon comes over to stand next to them Damon: "What's her problem?" Jaylan: "Don't worry about it." Damon: "Why are you being such a bitch to your mom?" He asks looking at Caroline Caroline:" Don't worry about it." She says as they pretend to do something while listening to Elena and Stefan's conversation Elena: "Do you still care about Katherine?" Stefan: "Don't do this. Don't turn this into something that it's not." Elena: "So this isn't up for discussion. That's what you're saying?" Stefan: "No, I'm saying that this isn't up for discussion right now because we have ears on us." He says as they look over to where the other three are at and they each pretend to do something as Jaylan clears her throat Elena: "Okay. When?" Stefan: "I don't know." Elena: "I saw her, Stefan. It's like we're the same person. How could you hate her and be in love with me?" Stefan: "You're reaching. I'm not-I'm not Damon." Elena: "How about we don't bring Damon into this right now?" Stefan: "You know what? I can't. I can't do this anymore, Elena." Elena: "Fine, Stefan. Whatever." Damon: "Relationships are about communication." He says as they watch Elena walk away from Stefan
