Elena: "My name is Elena Gilbert. I'm a vampire in search of the cure. It's a cure for immortality?"
Shane: "You dig up Silas and you've got your cure."
Galen: "There is only one dose."
Jeremy: "I really wanna get that cure for you."
Rebekah: "If I gave you the cure to take for yourself, you'd give it to Elena, wouldn't you?"
Stefan: "We all wanted it."
Damon: "Help Elena get the damn thing."
Jaylan: "We risked everything to get it."
Elena: "She's here."
Jeremy: "Katherine."
Katherine: "It's been too long, little Gilbert."
Damon: "And we failed."

Damon: "How'd this happen?" he asks after Stefan tells them that Jeremy is dead
Stefan: "It was Katherine. She must have been following us."
Damon: "What about the cure? Or Silas?"
Stefan: "If there was anything in there at all, it's all gone."
Damon: "Where the hell's Bonnie?"
Jaylan: "No idea. She went looking for Jeremy last night, she never came back."
Stefan: "Elena's in there waiting for the Gilbert ring to bring Jeremy back to life."
Damon: "Okay. Fine. We'll wait with her."
Jaylan: "It won't work" she says in realization "Jeremy was one of the Five. A hunter."
Damon: "He's supernatural. The ring won't work anymore. She won't survive this. I'll find Bonnie. You get Elena off this island" he says as Stefan goes to get Elena and Jeremy's body and he looks at Jaylan "You too."
Jaylan: "What. No."
Damon: "Yes. Go with Stefan."
Jaylan: "There is no way in hell I'm leaving you here alone on this creepy ass island."
Damon: "I won't be alone. I'm going to find Bonnie."
Jaylan: "And if you don't find her? You'll be here alone. Need I remind you that we have almost been killed more than once."
Damon: "I'll be fine. I just need to know that you are safe. Please go with him."
Jaylan: "Promise you'll find her and head home. No detours or anything."
Damon: "I promise. I love you."
Jaylan: "Love you too." she says kissing him before they split up

Caroline: "Hey, you're home" she says looking up from scrubbing the floor and seeing the three walk through the door with Stefan carrying Jeremy and Stefan shakes his head to tell her that he's dead "I was trying to clean the burn mark where Kol...I couldn't get the spot out."
Elena: "Come on, let's get him upstairs."
Caroline: "What happened?" she asks as the two watch Elena and Stefan go upstairs
Jaylan: "Katherine." she says solemly while shutting the front door

Caroline: "How long has she been like that?"
Stefan: "Since we found his body. Hasn't said anything except she's waiting for him to wake."
Caroline: "But he's not going to wake up. She knows that, right?" she says as he shushes them before turning on the faucet
Stefan: "Look. Deep down, I think she has to. But we're talking about Elena here. She feels grief more powerfully than anyone else. Her denial is protecting her from letting it all in."
Jaylan: "But she can't stay like that forever. I mean how long are we supposed to just let her keep a rotting corpse in the house?"
Stefan: "I know. I don't wanna be the one to break her out of it. Not until we know Bonnie's safe. Not until we get Damon here to, you know."
Jaylan: "Use the sire bond to convince her that everything's okay. Never thought I'd say this but I'm kind of glad Elena is still sired to my boyfriend."
Elena: "I'm not in denial" she says making them turn to face her as Stefan cuts the water off "I know that he was supernatural. But did you see? His tattoo's gone. The tattoo had the spell that opened Silas's chamber. Maybe it being gone means that he fulfilled his supernatural destiny. Maybe he's back to normal. It's possible, right?"
Caroline: "Elena."
Elena: "It's possible, Caroline. There's a chance. It may be miniscule, but it's hope. And I'm gonna hold onto that hope with everything that I've got because there is no way that...There's absolutely no way that my brother is dead. I'm not in denial." she says as they all give sad looks before she walks away
Jaylan: "Have you heard from Tyler lately? I tried calling him to tell him not to bring Brielle here but he's not answering." she says as Caroline turns to look at her while sighing out
Caroline: "About that..." she says as she tells the two how Klaus made Tyler leave Mystic Falls
