Texas's POV:

I'd left the meeting area for the fifth time today. It was dark out now. I'd leave my friends to go home themselves. But I got a text from Ohio.

"Missing something?"

"No?"

"We found your gun in the bushes at Tennessee's house."

"...."

"You think I did it?"

I nervously awaited his response. Only one thing ran through my mind- I need to see Oklahoma. She's my best friend, after all. And Tennessee isn't available. I started my truck and sped to the hospital. Maybe I wouldn't complete the south, but Oklahoma is one person I'm not going down without.

After entering the hospital and being directed to the room Oklahoma was in, I was shocked to see Alabama. Of course, holding a shotgun 🙄. "Hey Al!" "What's up with the nickname? That ain't normal from you." I chuckled. Of course. He doesn't care about me until the moment I need him to lack information most. Typical. "Nothin' is up with it. I just wanna see my best friend." Alabama gave me a sarcastic smile "we all know it was you. Word travels quickly. It's called a phone, dumbass."

And so that's how I started fighting Alabama in a hospital room that's inhabited by a patient.
