Since in one huge group all 48 of the present states couldn't get along in a big group, a very bossy and frustrated Virginia forced them all into very diverse groups that he determined by drawing popsicle sticks. The groups went like this:

After the groups were called, everyone went to their specific team. Almost immediately there was a screech.
Rhode Island's POV:
I went to my group, and after I was called so was Alaska. So she joined me. I stood by her, and realized just how tall she was and just how short I was. She must have too, because the next thing that I knew she picked me up! So I screamed and tried to get out of her grip, but she just stood there hugging me and said nothing. It was terrifying. I tried to get New York to help, but he didn't care. Finally, the nice and gentle-natured Kansas tried to pry the scary tall lady off of me. I was so relieved when Alaska let me go.
Alaska's POV:
Okay, so I was grouped with this really short and adorable guy so I picked him up!!! SQUEEEEEEEEE RHODE ISLAND IS ADORABLE I WANTED TO KEEP HIM💕💕
I was too shy to say anything, so I just stood there with him in my arms.... Until Kansas took him away.... How dare she.... Touching him is a no-no.... I'll make her pay.
Connecticut's POV:
My group is strange. Rhode Island looks terrified of Alaska, Alaska looks like she's fixing to murder Kansas, and Kansas looks oblivious.
