Maddie's P.O.V-

I walk back to my house alone. Anna was staying over with Calum and the boys. They invited me but honestly, I just needed time alone.

I go straight in to find Alfie playing with his toys. I run over and give him a cuddle.

I run upstairs and grab my laptop. Now was the time that I had alone to talk to my old friends, starting with Brad. I load up my computer.

I change into my pajamas and sit on my bed, pulling my laptop to my lap and get comfy.

After the laptop loads up, I log onto Skype and I find his name. He's online, as usual. He doesn't really go offline.I trying him and he answers straight away.

"MADDIE! Oh my god! I haven't seen you in ages, how are you?"

"Uhh, I'm good, what about you? How's the band?"

"Great! We have a new single coming out called wild heart"

"Aww! I want to hear it!"

"I would but you're in Australia"

"Living it large with 5sos"

"5sos?"

"New friends, don't worry"

"Ditching me already?" He pouts as a joke.

"I can't ditch my boyfriend, can I?"

"Boyfriend?"

"Yeah... Can I ask you something?"

"No, I am not going to da-"

"Fake date. I want a fake date"

"What?"

"I have a crush on a guy called Luke but I can't have a crush on him, he's my new friend. So I told him I was seeing you. Please help me out"

"So I'm your fake boyfriend for a couple weeks?"

"Yeah! But in return, I'll buy you tickets to come visit me in Australia"

"Seriously?"

"Yeah! I miss you so much"

"I miss my pal to! My little one"

"My little Birmingham prince" I giggle and see Luke walk in my room. I wave and turn my laptop.

"Hello there" Brad says waving.

"Hi. Is this brad?" His smile dropped as he said his name.

"Yes Luke, this is Brad" I say while looking at Brad.

"So you're Maddie's boyfriend?"

"Yep. She's my girl"

"I've heard a lot about you"

"Thanks?" He laughs nervously.

"All good things. You seem lovely and she says you're sweet"

"That's nice, she says you're an amazing friend Luke. I'm happy my baby has found someone kind out there"

"I try my best" He giggles while looking down.

"I better be off, I have a gig tonight, speak later beautiful"

"See yaaaa" I end the call and flop so I'm lying down and Luke sits on the end of the bed.

"I came here to apologise for being mean about Brad. I was just jealous you had a relationship. I haven't asked the girl I like out yet" I suddenly feel a pain in my chest. My heart feels like it head been split in two. He liked someone?

"Really?"

"I'm going to ask her tonight, I haven't seen her in about 2 days. I miss my baby"

"Oh. Um, have fun"

"I better go, I told her I'd meet her in ten minutes, wish me luck! See you later.. Sorry again"

"Bye Hemmings" As soon as my door closes, my heart breaks into a million pieces.
