Jealous

Luke's P.O.V-

I walk out of Maddie's house and I walk a different way home, to make it more realistic. I had to lie and be nice to Brad because I want to still be friends.

I walk to my house and find Calum and pull him into the kitchen. He stares at me with a confused look.

"Calum, I need your help"

"What did you do?"

"I told Maddie I have a girlfriend"

"What the hell Luke?!"

"I like her okay? And she's got a boyfriend! I need to get her out of my mind"

"Dude, that's not going to help, is it?"

"No but he was so nice to her and she truly looked like she loved him. What if I spend the rest of my life thinking of her?"

"Luke you won't! Why don't I ring my friend Lucy? She can date you"

"Fake date Calum. Fake date. I don't want to date her" I cringe at her name. She was the most annoying person ever. She only dated Calum because he bought her anything and to top it off, she was blonde and blonde was not my type.

"She was lovely! Anyway, you need to move on"

"No. I can't. Lucy will think it's real and-"

"No, she's a fake girlfriend. Really think I'd go for her? Seriously?"

"You trickster" I nudge him and he hugs me.

"I'm glad you like her"

"Why? She's got a boyfriend"

"Because she's my girlfriend's friend and when I want to spend time with Anna, you can occupy Maddie"

"Awe! She's not a dog!"

"I know. I'm happy for you too" He smirks.

"Let's go ring Lucy'"

"Okay" I run upstairs and ring Lucy on Skype. Damn I hated this girl.

"Mr Calum Hood, so where have you been?"

"It's Luke. I don't want a friendly chat"

"Oh Luke, why are you ringing me?"

"I need a favour"

"But you hate me? Aww does someone want a fake date?"

"Yes, someone does"

"Aww, how long?"

"Like 3 weeks. Trust me, I don't want to see you more than I should"

"Well Lucas, it'll cost you"

"That's not my name and what do you mean cost?"

"You want me or not?"

"I'll find someone else if I have to pay"

"Rude" she ends the call and I'm glad. I ring my mum, she'll know.

"Mum"

"What's up little Lukey?"

"Don't call me that, I'm not 10 anymore"

"Sorry, what up Luke?"

"I may have lied and said I have a girlfriend to impress a girl"

"Bit stupid really"

"Yeah, what do I do?"

"Find a girlfriend"

"Yeah but I don't want to date anyone but her"

"You're a picky boy! Call Lucy?"

"Yeah, she charges"

"Rude"

"She said that"

"Well, your science partner last year is attractive, just pretend she's your girl"

"That's a great idea mum! That's why I rung you"

"Loves you"

"Loves you more mamma Hemmings"

"Yeah yeah, see you at work with Maddie tomorrow" I hang up and forget that I'm working with Maddie tomorrow. Oh no.

I walk back into the living room to find Anna asleep on Calum's stomach. Cute. I wish me and Maddie were like that but she's got a boyfriend while I'm here faking a date with my friend.

I slowly make my way upstairs leaving a text to my classmate.

1 message to Teresa:

Hey! I need a favour? I like a girl and I need to make her jealous, will you be my pretend girlfriend? Id really help me out! xx

I slide my jeans off and rip off the shirt in anger. I lay in my bed and stare at the ceiling. The girl of my dreams has another man.
