Arriving home

Maddie's P.O.V-

We come of the plane and make our way out of the airport.

"This airport is so small"

"Luke, this is huge" I say looking around, I still couldn't believe I was actually home.

"It's tiny compared to the Australian one"

"Everything is small compared to Australia. Look at me and you" I smile and hug him.

We make our way out and find my mum's car. I run over, Luke following with the suitcases.

"Oh Maddie"

"MUM" I yell and hug her. I hear Luke behind me and turn around.

"Hi"

"Mum, meet Luke Hemmings. Luke meet my mum" They shake hands.

"Nice to meet you Luke. I'll put the bags in the back"

"Okay, I'll help. It's nice to finally meet you Mrs Day"

"I told you Luke, call me Sarah"

"Sorry Sarah" I get in the back and wait for them to come through. Luke sits next to me and I grab his hand to comfort him.

"So Maddie, how's Australia? Better than living here?"

"Yes! It's so warm and I get to work with some of my friends" I poke Luke's cheek.

"That's sweet" I kiss his cheek.

"What's it like without me?" I ask.

"Quiet. It's very quiet. I miss your loud music sometimes"

"Aww! Luke also enjoys my loud music so it's even louder now" I giggle.

"Do you Luke?"

"Yeah. Blink is my favourite band"

"Oh, so you are perfect for each other because blink is what Maddie listens to" I kiss his cheek and she continues to talk to us. She drives us home and all I see are giant balloons.

I get out the car and walk back into the house. I see my dad and some old friends, they all cheer as we walk in.

"MADDIE!" My friend Jessica runs over and cuddles me. I hug her back, I missed her.

"Jess! I've missed you so much" I release her and walk over to my dad. I give him the usual conversation.

"You better go and get ready"

"Hmm?"

"We have a meal tonight. You and Luke are the main couple"

"Main couple? Oh wait, you mean the family dinners we had when someone's got a new boyfriend?"

"Yes! I'm so glad you remember! We need to do it to you! You've never had one before"

"Yep, no boyfriend Maddie they called me" I say looking back at Luke. He smirked at me.

"Yeah, go get ready"

"See you mum" I take his hand and we walk back upstairs. I sit on my bed and look around. My room was great, it reminded me so much of my childhood.

"Your room is awesome Mads" He says while walking around. My room was light green and white, everything matched. I didn't have any posters because I loved the green.

"Thanks Luke" I say while picking out a dress. I had to look nice, my whole family are going to be there.

"Luke, are you staying in that?"

"No I've got a black and white jumper. I'm going shower first though, make my jet lag a bit better"

"Oh yeah. I'm so tired! I just want to sleep all day" I sigh and lay down. He joins me.

"As do I miss Day" He says while kissing my lips. I pull off as my door opens. I sit up and my dad walks in.

"Off my daughter"

"I'm sorry Sir" Luke says while getting up. I smile and hug my dad as Luke goes to shower.

"He's a bit quiet"

"Yeah he's shy. I love him though"

"You love him? You really love him?"

"I do. He's my everything"

"You cutie" He kisses the top of my head.

"So, what are you doing up here?"

"Getting ready like you" He says leaving my room smiling.

"I love you dad"

"I love you too. It's great to see you"

"Yep" I smile and walk into my cupboard. That was one thing I missed about Australia, my walk in wardrobe. It had no clothes in because I took them all but it was still nice to walk in.

I grab my suitcase and walk back in. I unpack my stuff and put it into a place. I hear footsteps behind me.

"Hemmings, get out of my wardrobe"

"That's not nice"

"You're all wet! Ew get out" I push him gently while we both laugh.

"I went in the shower, I'm all clean" He places his hands on my waist.

"Luke... Get dressed" I say as he gets closer to me.

"But your towel is soft"

"Change!" I say while entering the bathroom. He was so hot but I had to get ready. I turn it on and shower, washing my hair.

I get back to my room where Luke is now in his boxers.

"Luke that's not what I meant. Actually put some clothes on!"

"Hey! We have another hour yet" I brush my hair and sit on my bed.

"Luke, why are you stealing my hairdryer? I need it"

"Let me do it for you"

"Okay fine"

"Just like you did when I had paint in my hair" I smile and he starts the hair dryer.

He does a really good and dries it all. I get up and change into a dress, I straighten my hair and walk back into the cupboard.

"Oh shirtless Luke" I say while hugging him from behind.

"Oh dressed up Maddie" He says while kissing my lips. I hug him when my bedroom door opens so I detach myself from Luke and my mum walks in.

"Awww you guys are adorable"

"I better put my stuff on" He gets his jumper on with jeans and we walk downstairs. I'm so excited to do this.

I'm so happy right now because LUKE WAS DRESSED AS MARIO AND HE LOOKED SO DAMN GOOD I LITERALLY WANTED TO PULL HIM THROUGH HE SCREEN AND KISS HIM OMF 😍😍😍
