Coffee Break

Hospital rides

Luke's P.O.V-

I walk across the park with Calum, drinking our coffees.

"It's weird without the girls. I miss it" Calum said while sipping his.

"Anna is still here cal"

"No I meant us just hanging out, like all 4 of us"

"I know" I nudged him. I saw a couple old people from school in the distance so we thought it was best to leave. Calum and I never really fit in with that crowd and so we left them alone.

I sat on a bench, Calum following. I see a couple of the people from our school walk over to us. Dorothy leading the group.

"Calum Thomas hood. Oh and if it isn't Luke Hemmings"

"Dorothy, I'd rather you leave us alone" I sigh.

"Luke, you're my boyfriend"

"What the f-" I get cut off. I felt lips touch my own and I instantly felt sick. I only liked Maddie's taste. I pushed her off an he immediately giggles.

"Luke, thank you for that" She wipes her lips.

"Why the fuck did you just kiss me? Do you know I have a girlfriend?"

"Yeah, did you know I have a boyfriend?" I looked at her confused. She winks and looks at me, acting shocked.

I watch a muscular man walk over and stare at her. She looks back at me and Calum taps my shoulder.

"Who's he?"

"I have no-" I feel two hands make their way on my shoulders and pull me off the bench. I flop the floor, feeling extreme pain to my side. I see Calum get pinned back by his friends.

He shouts as the man approaches me with his fists clenched. I cover my body and he punches my side multiple times before I feel sick. I try to move but the pain is terrible.

I grab the bench to pull myself up when I feel a foot kick my fingers making me scream in pain. I curl up into a ball and let him and his friends beat me up.

I spit out blood as it fills my mouth and tastes horrible. I feel everyone laugh, even Dorothy. I look up at her and she looks down.

My head feels funny and I start blanking out. I want to get up and get a drink I make myself feel better but I can't.

"This is for Kissing my girl Hemmings"

"And embarrassing me" She says, while shaking her head. I see his foot one last time before everything blacks out.

Calum's P.O.V-

They finally let me go and I run towards Luke who was now unconscious. I grab my phone and call and ambulance.

"Hi I'm Calum, I'm in a park and my friend just got beat up. He's unconscious"

"Okay Calum, we will be there as soon as possible" I give her all the details and I see the boys approach again, this time with something in his hands. I sit next to Luke and keep him near me.

I get taken back again by the two boys again, making me feel useless.

"LEAVE LUKE ALONE. HE'S DONE NOTHING WRONG" I shout as I see the object. His hits Luke and I shout, getting nothing but laughs. I don't see Luke flinch and I know he's not faking himself being blacked out.

"He kissed my girlfriend"

"I kissed him! He hates me Sam! Leave him alone" This time it's Dorothy. They all look at her and glare.
