Luke's P.O.V-

*7 years later*

"Leo! Zoe! Get here now" I say and they come over.

"How do I look?"

"Beautiful Zo, here" I give her the backpack she asked for. Today was the twins first day at high school and I was nervous.

"Mads, come here" I say and she runs in. She smiles and puts her phone down.

"You both look amazing" I go over and give her a hug as she lets a tear fall out.

"Mum, don't cry, dad's here to protect you" Every time Maddie cries, she said this to reassure her. I loved her so much for this.

"Leo, my man" I say as he comes in.

"Shut up dad I look like a potato with a stupid uniform. I'm never getting a girlfriend"

"You don't get a girlfriend until you're 17 like me"

"Then get them pregnant at the age of 19" He says quite seriously making me glare.

"But if I didn't, you would not be here so I win"

"I guess" He says and I ruffle his hair. He stops and looks in the mirror.

"I don't want to go Dad" Zoe says and I give her a hug. I hated to see her cry so I take her away from Leo and Maddie to comfort her.

"Let me tell you a secret, when I first went to school, I cried for a week. I didn't tell anyone, not even my mum but let me tell you something, high school isn't as bad as it looks"

"Promise?"

"I promise you" I hear the door open and Brendon runs in. Behind him is Calum holding hands with Sophia who had her first day at junior school.

"Cal pal! Super dad" I say and wipe Zoe's tears away. She smirks as she sees Brendon. She had the biggest a crush on him which I found strange considering he was the double of Calum.

"I think I'll be okay now dad" She says not taking her eyes off him.

"Go speak to him then!" I say nudging her towards him.

"No dad! Look at him! He's so cool" That was the only problem. My daughter was the reject of school whereas my son wasn't popular or a reject.

"Leo, you ready?" Brendon asked and they walked out of the door.

"Zoe, want me to walk you?" Calum asked and she shock her head.

"I'll walk alone" She sighed. I hated the fact that she had no friends. I kiss her cheek and she catches up with Leo who smiles and they head to school.

Canna walk out of our house and Maddie collapses into my arms

"Mad, you okay?"

"Yeah, it's just they grew up so fast" She cries and I hug her tight.

"I know, I know" I stop comforting her as Ashton runs in looking extremely happy with Bailey behind him.

"Guys, I have news"

"Is about Ketchup?" After they had a discussion, Ashton and Bailey decided to get a dog as they couldn't raise any children.

"No! Extremely better"

"Come on" I say as I sit down.

"I'M PREGNANT" I open my eyes in shock. Maddie squeezes my hand and we both get up, giving them hugs.

"How is this possible?" Maddie asks and I had to admit, I was wondering as well.

"There was a 99% chance I wouldn't get pregnant but we did it! We were the 1%! I just have to keep you inside me now" She says tapping her stomach.

"I'm so happy for you" I say and give her a hug.

After an hour or so, Ashton and Bailey drive home and leave Maddie and I alone.

"Isn't it weird to think our kids are old now?"

"Yep"

"They're in high school" She gasps and bites her lip.

"I know. I hate it. I want them to be 5 again" I say and lean my head on her stomach.

"But life has to keep moving and soon enough we'll be grandparents"

"Stop before I cry" I say and she smiles.

"My life has been amazing and I'm so grateful I got to spend it with you"

"You're not dying are you?"

"No, just thinking"

"I love you to the moon and back"

"I love you wayyyyyy more than that" She presses her lips against mine and I wrap my arms around her.

My life has given me all I ever wanted. My dream job, wife, children, house and friends. I can not wait to see what tomorrow brings me....
