Coffee Break

First day

Maddie's P.O.V-

I change into my uniform and go to work. Today was my first day at the coffee shop and I couldn't wait to see Luke again.

I walk in to find Luke laughing with a girl. My heart instantly stopped. They both stop talking and look at me. She was stunning and I was already jealous.

"Mads! You're here! Meet my girlfriend, Teresa"

"Hello" I shake her hand. I try and act normal but I'm broken inside. Why the hell did I lie about being in a relationship?!

I go behind the desk and find a cup with a note on. I see my name.

Hey mads, hope your first day goes great, have a nice day xx

The beautiful. It's gone. I totally ruined it.

"Oh Luke! Good news"

"Oh yeah? What's better than me releasing my first single next week?"

"Nothing! Oh my god Luke?!"

"Thank you! Now, Continue"

"My boyfriend is coming here next week" I say trying to show him I didn't have feelings for him.

"Aww that's great" He smiles.

After 4 hours of work, I go home. I immediately take Alfie out for a walk and sit in my favourite bench and just stay there for a while, thinking.

"Can I sit?"

"Of course"

"Thank you" He has a really deep voice and I felt a hand pressed down on my shoulder. I turn to face him but his face is covered.

"Ummm" I brush his hand off.

"What, I'm not aloud to show affection to my girl?" I hear the familiar Birmingham accent. He revels his face and my jaw drops. No...

"BRADLEY WILL SIMPSON WHAT THE HELL?" I stand up and give him the biggest hug ever.

"I asked Anna where you were and she said the park so, here I am"

"Oh my god! Was this a surprise?"

"I booked it last night! Talking to you showed me how much I missed you so I had to see you"

"How long are you here?"

"One week but I'm extremely excited"

"I thought I was buying your ticket as a thank you for being my fake boyfriend?"

"I'm not letting you pay for a flight! I'm doing this for you, I don't need anything back. Plus, is here now so you can't say anything"

"I'm so happy" I hug him again and spot Luke starring at me. He looked miserable so I put my face into Brad's shoulder to try and forget about Luke.

"So baby, where first?" He notices Luke and begins the act.

"My house. Anna and I need a chat about you" He giggles while nodding as Alfie runs over to see his favourite person. He loves Brad. Let's be honest, who didn't love him?

We walk in my house to did Calum and Anna having a little peck on the lips. She smiles at his back as he leaves.

"Maddie? BRAD?" she winks.

"Yeah, he's actually here! We need to talk now"

"Am I in trouble?" She laughs.

"No! I just want to talk about Brad staying here"

"Oh you don't need to worry about that! I'm staying at a hotel down the street"

"Wrong. We have a spare bedroom"

"Thank you" He says and I hug him. I hear the door go and Anna answers it while I continue our hug.

"I came because Maddie forgot her coat" Luke walks in and spots us hugging.

"Luke! Look! Brad came early" I feel Brad's hand slide around my waist, obviously pretending.

"I couldn't stay away" He presses his lips against my cheek. It made me feel all warm inside. I think I liked it.

"That's cute. Here's your coat" He puts my jacket on the side and I smile. He then walks out, not saying goodbye. Anna follows him as he looked annoyed as I stay next to Brad.

I feel Brad slightly move away. I pull him back in and he looks at me confused, our faces so close to touching. I put my hand on his jaw bone and he furrows his eye brows in shock.

He instantly attaches his lips to mine. I feel a spark as soon as he connects to me. I put my two hands on his jaw and he slides his down to my waist. I close my eyes as this was so magical. I didn't even know I felt this way about Brad.

I immediately stop as Anna coughs to let us know she was back. I put my hand in Brad's and it fits perfectly.

"So, I thought it was meant to be an act"

"I thought so too, now I have no idea" He kisses my cheek. I keep my eyes locked on his.

"I think I have feelings for you mads" I turn my head in shock. I kiss his cheek and I make us each a cup of hot chocolate.
