Interview

Maddie's P.O.V-

I wake up and I open my eyes to find Luke's lip extremely close to my eyes. I smile, he was still here, he stayed with me.

I think back to yesterday, all the pain I felt. My boyfriend had kissed another girl. He was my first boyfriend, were they all like this?

I feel my tears build up and I let them out, crying silently. I wrap my arms around Luke for comfort when he wakes up.

"Mads, hey, come here" I don't hold it in. I let out little cries of pain while getting a warm hug from Luke. I feel his lip touch my forehead and my heart skips a best. This kiss feels more magical than Brad and I's. I really liked Luke.

I sit crossed legged on my bed and he smiles at me. He gets up so he's leaning his whole body weight on his elbow and looks at me.

"You didn't deserve what happened yesterday mads"

"Perhaps I did"

"Why's that?" I couldn't tell him, I just couldn't.

"I just feel like I'm a bad friend to you. I mean, I woke you up this morning-"

"Hey hey, we can't help when we cry okay? I'm a friend and I'm here for you whenever, I don't care what time it is"

"Thanks Luke"

"Now, get changed, we have a radio interview today"

"We?"

"Well, 5 seconds of summer but I want you there"

"Aww thanks Luke, it'll take my mind off things for a while" I hug him and he gets up. He showers quickly and comes out in just his towel. His body looked absolutely fantastic and I couldn't keep my eyes off it.

"The room looks great now mads" I look around my room at the paint. The way we splattered it looks amazing and I had to admit, I was proud of it.

"Thanks Luke, I couldn't do it without you"

"Me and my amazing throwing skills" I go in the shower this time and sing. I think of a new song I wanted our band to perform and I thought it was good. I wrote it and it was called 'going strong' It was about love and I wrote it about me and Luke even though we had no love, I really wished we did.

I get changed into a plain pair of black skinny jeans and a shirt with a penguin on. He immediately smiles and gave me a bear hug.

"I missed your hugs Hemmings"

"Same to you blue"

"I missed when you called me blue"

"Well I bettee start again"

"Yeah, now come on, or you'll be late" We leave the house together as Anna had already made her way to the interview with Calum and Cashton.

As the car pulls up, Luke grips my hand. I feel his hand tighten as we get out.

"Luke, it's okay, you'll be fine" I calm him down a bit and he smiles. We make our way into the radio station and I spot Michael. We walk over and I get a giant hug from Michael.

'I heard what he did. That idiot"

"I know. But let's not think of that, lets think about your interview"

"Yeah. I'm really nervous. This is the biggest radio station in Australia!"

"That just means that lots more people will enjoy your music. It's the first time you're playing 'she looks so perfect' isn't it?"
