Finding out

Luke's P.O.V-

*1 month later*

I pick out a jumper for Maddie to wear as she was getting quite self conscious with her small bump which I was in love with.

"Here" I throw her over my jumper and she smiles.

"Thanks Luke" She slide it on over her leggings. She couldn't even wear her skinny jeans which I knew was killing her.

"You look great"

"I don't feel great" She was having a really tough pregnancy and I couldn't help her as it was out of my hands.

"Well I'm here to tell you that I love you, just the way you are"

"Shut up" I put her shoes on for her and we get ready to got to the doctors to find out how our child is.

"I need to feed Oreo" I quickly run downstairs and feed our cat. Maddie slowly makes her way down and into Ashton's car.

"Thanks for taking us Ash"

"That's what uncles are for" All the boys took it well and so did my parents. Maddie's parents weren't as happy but they soon got round to the idea.

"So Maddie, are we seeing what gender it is?"

"I want to, do you?"

"I'd like to know" I smile and she nods. Ashton 'awwwws' at everything we do and it's quite relaxing.

We arrive at the doctors and we leave Ashton in the car. I make my way over to the counter with Maddie beside me.

"Hi, I'm Mr Hemmings"

"First name?"

"Luke"

"Oh yes, your wife is booked for a baby scan?"

"Yeah" I point to Maddie who smiles.

"Please take a seat"

"Thanks" We sit for 5 minutes before getting taken into the doctors room.

He lays Maddie on a bed and lifts the jumper, revealing her baby bump. He places a small machine on her stomach and the TV turns dark blue.

"Here we are, your baby" I feel tears build up in the back of my eyes and I release some.

"This is magical"I hold Maddie's hand and we both stare at the screen in amazement.

"Hold on a second, I've found another baby! Congratulations, it looks like you're having twins" My mouth opens in shock and so does Maddie's. I smile and kiss Maddie's cheek.

"Twins! We're having twins!"

"Oh my god! TWINS" She says and the doctor laughs.

"Do you both want to know the sex?"

"Yes please" She says smiling.

"You're having a boy and a girl" I smile at the thought. I hear Maddie's soft cries making me laugh.

"What a miracle! Two babies" I say as we leave the building. I help Maddie into Ashton's car and he begins to drive.

"So?"

"We're having twins"

"TWINS! OH MY GOD" He laughs and so do I.

"One boy and one girl" Maddie says from the back.

"How adorable! I'm so happy for you" I nod and quickly text my mum as Maddie talks to he parents over the phone.

My parents reply saying how excited they were and how they couldn't believe it, neither could I.

We get to our house where I sit next to Oreo on the sofa as Maddie goes upstairs for a bath. I take out my phone and text my brothers who were on holiday.

I hadn't had my two babies yet but I knew they were the best things that would ever happen to me and Maddie.
