Luke's P.O.V-

I walked back to my house, a little skip in my step. I see my mum and run over, she was back from her holiday with friends.

I hug her and she immediately wraps her arms around me and kisses my cheek. It didn't feel as magical as when Maddie did it but she was my mum.

I remember that I hadn't told my my about Maddie yet and I didn't know how I was going to. She realises me and smiles at me.

"I missed my little boy"

"Mum, I'm a man now. I'm like 4 months away from an album"

"I know! Congratulations!"

"Thanks mum"

"When is the music video out?"

"Next week. The producer said it was good! I'm so excited to see the final video!"

"You should be, this is incredible! I'm excited for you" I take a couple of bags in the house and she stares at me for a while.

"Mum stop staring at me! It's freaking me out"

"Something about you is different"

"Yeah?" I knew she would bring up my mood. Ever since I started dating Maddie, I had been so much happier.

"I know what it is. That ring you have in your lip" She glares at me. Damn, I forgot about that.

"So I got my lip pierced. Nothing big" I rolled my eyes.

"Get to your room" I sigh.

"I'm going" I may have been 17 but she still had her rules. I walk upstairs and take my phone out to see Maddie had texted me.

No point, she grounded me because of my lip ring. I haven't told her about us yet either. I'll text you when I have xxx

Ever since I had been dating Maddie, I used kisses which was weird. I walk over to my window and see Michael in my back garden.

"What are you doing here?"

"Maddie told me about you being grounded. I came to say hi"

"Mike, my mums gonna kill you if she sees you"

"She won't see me"

"Yes she will" I see my mum looking at him, crossing her arms. She was cool when she wanted to be but she sucked when she was upset. He sighed and walked out of my house.

"Maddie? Who is she?"

"Ugh" She knew about I liked a girl but I had never told her the name.

"Girlfriend?" Her eyes lit up a bit when she said it.

"Well I haven't asked her yet-"

"I'm coming up to discuss" She clapped. This was when she was cool. I waited and then I heard some running up the stairs and they a thud.

I open my door and find my mother laying on the ground, laughing.

"Mum?"

"I fell while running up, I was too excited" She burst into laughter again and I couldn't stop laughing. I sat next to her and she got up.

"So tell me, this Maddie, how did you meet her?"

"Well mum, she's the girl I was trying to make jealous. She broke up with Brad a couple weeks ago"
