After they finished training, Izzy reminded them that they needed to go shopping for wedding attire.

Jace sighed. He supposed it was unrealistic to have hoped Izzy had forgotten about that.

"Do we have to?" Max asked, voicing Jace's thoughts. The looks on Alec and Simon's faces showed that they were also thinking the same thing.

"Come on you guys," Izzy said. "We were supposed to go yesterday but you guys were all passed out!"

"I wasn't the one who got drunk and passed out in the hallway," Jace said pointedly.

"Hey, I didn't pass out," Izzy said. "I was just. . . resting."

"On the floor?" Jace asked.

In response, Izzy stuck a finger up at Jace.

"Okay, so shopping?" Magnus stepped in between the two siblings before they challenged each other to a duel or something.

"Right," Izzy said, remembering. "So Clary and I will meet Maia at the mall to go shopping for the dress while you guys go get tuxes."

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Alec realized something. "How is Jace supposed to get Clary to kiss him if they're not together?"

"It's only for a few hours. We'll meet up somewhere afterwards for dinner," Izzy waved him off.

"Yeah sure, you're just doing that so you can win the bet," Alec said.

"I'll have you know, we planned to do this before we made the bet," Izzy shot back.

"You guys we have to meet Maia and if we don't go now, we won't make it there in time!" Magnus said, breaking up a different pair of siblings now.

"Fine," Alec said.

"Fine," Izzy said.

Clary and Izzy met up with Maia at the mall and together, they went to Seraph Bridal, a Shadowhunter bridal store that was glamoured to look like an out of business bakery.

Maia and Clary were calmly looking through the racks, but Izzy was squealing every other dress she saw. It came to the point where Maia and Clary were asking her random questions just to shut her up.

They had gotten to the topic of the bet and Maia agreed with Clary and Izzy. "Oh please, you can totally not kiss him for a day."

"Thank you!" Clary said.

They probably would have said more, but then Izzy saw a dress and squealed the loudest squeal yet.

"Clary, you have to try this on!" Izzy exclaimed.

"All right, all right, I'll try it on," Clary said, trying to get Izzy to stop bouncing.

Clary went to the changing room and put it on. She didn't look in the mirror because she didn't want to get attached to it before she got their opinion.

Clary walked out and Maia and Izzy gasped. It takes a lot for Maia to squeal so Clary either looked stunning or terrible. She hoped it was the first one.

She walked to the mirror and smiled.

This was the one. It was gold and strapless. It was fitted so that it hugged the curves that Clary had perfectly. Clary loved it. It made her look slim and elegant. If she had ever dreamed about her perfect dress like some other love sick girls, then this would be it.

"You look gorgeous!" Izzy gushed.

"Yeah, you do," Maia agreed.

"Thanks guys! I love it," Clary said.

"Now we just have to get the heels, the veil and the tiara," Izzy said.

"Tiara?" Clary asked. She didn't remember that from the wedding pictures Izzy made her look at.

"Yes, tiara," Izzy said. "You know, a crown that goes on a girls head and- "

"I know what a tiara is, Izzy," Clary said, cutting her off. "But what do I need a tiara for?"

"To hold up the veil," Izzy said exasperatedly.

"Okay," Clary said, knowing she wouldn't win against Izzy.

"Good, now on to the shoes!" Izzy said, marching to the shoe section.

They found a pair of glittery high heels, or more like, Izzy found them. The heels were almost six inches high!

"Izzy, I'm going to kill myself! I know I've started walking in heels more, but that is just overkill," Clary said.

"Oh come on, you'll learn to walk in them! I'll help you, and with these you'll only be a couple inches shorter than Jace!" Izzy said.

"But-" Clary started to protest more.

"No buts!" Izzy said, already walking over to the cash register.

Clary sighed. "Who's wedding is this?" she muttered.

"Come on, let's pay for this stuff," Izzy said, pretending that Clary didn't say anything.

"What about the tiara and veil?" Maia asked.

"Oh no, we're having those custom made," Izzy said.

"Where would you do that?" Clary asked.

"I know a guy," Izzy simply said.

"Okay then," Clary said. Why she would know a guy for that was beyond her.

They paid for the dress and shoes and left to go meet up with guys at Taki's.
