(Lauren's POV)

  A week since Camila and I last talked. She's been hanging out with this Vero chick so called girlfriend. I don't like Vero she seems like she's using her and I don't like it one bit. If she's happy then I'm happy for her. I guess its true saying: Sometimes love hurts. Why can't love be so simple? Like everyone has a soulmate, right? Mines my best friend and she doesn't seem like she loves me anymore.

  Damn right I'm jealous. What are you supposed to do when your lover is loving someone else? Or how do you not watch dying in constant pain in the heart of mine?

  "I'm tired of you two! Right before everything went to shit you guys were so close being together as a couple. Now, what do we see! Camila dating Miss Vero over there and you just staring at them nonstop. What happened to our Camila?" Normani said and I heard the girls sniffing. I looked one last time at Camila laugh at something Vero said and I paid attention back to the lunch table. "Love isn't as easy as I thought it would be," I replied stabbing my food not eating it. "Maybe a song might help," Ally replies and I looked at Ally. "What?" I went back stabbing my food and found myself looking at Camz again. "Would you stop eye fucking her, Lauren!" Dinah yells and I gulped hard hoping no one next to us heard it. She mumbled a sorry and we continued to eat our lunch. "She acts like I don't exist. I don't get it. I thought she would be happy that I'm not dead," I said still stabbing my food. "Well give her sometime, Lauren. She will come around. It wasn't easy for us when we saw you alive and breathing when just moments ago we were at your funeral. Does family even know your alive?" Ally asked. "Yeah, they do. Chris saw me at the funeral after in the distance. I've never cried so hard at Camila's speech. Including you guys." "So...how did you wake up?" Dinah asked and told them the story.

 "So, pretty much you woke up before we pulled the plug on you?" Normani asked. "Yes and decided to wake up when I heard no one was in the room, but the doctor was shocked I was alive. He immediately tried to say that I was awake, but I said no. I don't know why, maybe I wanted a new life." "I guess I understand that in some ways," Ally replies. The bell rings and everyone gets up to go to their next class. I sat back and watched Camila pass by looking at me with those brown eyes. She looks away from me and says something to Vero. I caught myself looking at her... "I know. She has that Cuban body and butt," I looked to see it was Ariana.

 "You know she loves you. It might not seem like it now, but it will be worth it in the end." She tells me and pats my back in reassurance. "How are you and Ricky?" I asked trying to start a conversation and she smiles slightly. "Actually not so well. I think it wasn't meant to be. Just between you and me we aren't dating anymore." "I'm sorry. So, any interest in someone?" I asked. "This one girl." I saw stare at her and found it was Lucy. Oh damn. "Lucy? I guess that one night stand was breathtaking," I whispered in her ear teasing her and she pushes me. We both laughed and she winked at me going to her next class. I smiled as she walked to her class hoping Lucy would give her a chance.

  "What was that?" Normani questioned by the classroom door. "Just a friendly conversation. Now shall we get to class?" We go inside the choir room and found Mr. Elgort wearing glasses. People were talking to their group while Camila is next to someone? She usually sits with us. She sitting next to Julia and Austin. Not surprised. We made eye contact and she pulls back to talk to Julia again. I found Ariana waving at me to come over and I waved her to come sit next to me. She agrees and gets up to sit next to me.

 "Hey girls. How's it hanging?" Ariana smiles at us and the girls gave me weird looks at me. I shrugged and they smile at Ariana. The bell rings meaning the start of class and it's been a few minutes that he hasn't said a word. "What's up with him?" Ally asked. "He probably fell asleep?" I questioned and found him shaking his head. "Maybe we need to be quiet?" Normani replies. Dinah yells everyone to shut up and everyone becomes quiet.
