Chapter 12

Jackson's POV
We followed them as they walked outside, once we took a step outside, it was freezing, colder than before. I crossed my arms across my chest and I looked around and soon realised why it was so cold, the ground was covered in pale white snow. I shivered as we continued to follow them. My feet ached as we walked on the snow, I looked over at Mia and could see that she was facing the same problem. The others all seemed fine, but they were wearing shoes and warm clothing. All we were wearing a thin layer of grey clothes, that was it. I continued to shiver, as we walked.

I noticed that two of them occasionally kept looking back at us as we lagged, I looked ahead to see them all stopped and watching us. It wasn't our fault that we were lagging behind, it was just too cold. We soon caught up to them, and they began to walk again, this time a lot slower so that Mia and I could keep up. After about half an hour of walking we came up to a large black jet. Mia and I stopped as we stared at it, this was the first time either of us had seen a jet.
"Come on," the girl with blond hair said. We followed them onto the jet as it took off.

We strapped ourselves in, though still shivering.
"Hold on" they said as we took off and were in the air. The flight was pretty boring after a while.
"Umm.......What did you mean that we were Gorges first successful experiments?" Mia asked
"Well.,.... Gorge has been experimenting on humans for a while, but he's always failed. We're always chasing after him, but he always manages to escape. You two are his first successful experiment." The boy with red hair said calmly as he flew the jet.
"Is there anyway to reverse it?" I asked, filling up with hope
"No, if you tried to undo it now, you would die." The blond haired girl said with sadness in her voice. All the hope suddenly drained into nothingness.
"Anyway, we'll be there soon, you two should get some rest." The girl with brown hair finally spoke up. I got into a comfortable position and rested my eyes.

"Jackson, wake up." Mia shook me, I opened my eyes and looked through the glass at the front. I could see a large building, with a huge backyard and a basket ball court. Mia and I got off the jet and met the group outside, they took us inside the building. It was like a labyrinth on the inside, we kept walking until we came to a large door. The red haired boy knocked on the door, before entering. Inside was a large desk, with piles of paper.
"Headmistress." He said
"Oh good your back. Are these Gorge's reported experiments?" Asked the lady behind the desk, or headmistress. Wait was this a school or something? I asked myself.
"Yes, though I'm afraid we were too late, the experiments were successful." He continued

"So What did he do to them?" She asked
"We're not quite sure, all we know is that they can transform into wolves and transfer back." He said calmly
"Are you serious? Something like that should be physically impossible, something you would find in a book or a movie." She said. The boy nodded in return.
"I want to see it." She continued
"I'm sorry headmistress, but I believe they do not have much control over it." He replied
"Very well. What's with the collars on them?" The headmistress Asked

"We believe it to be a torture device as well as it to mark that Gorge had claimed them as his dogs" the red haired boy continued.
"That's so cruel. Well, get them off and show them to their rooms, and get them some proper clothing. Then get them some proper food." She said before returning to the papers on her desk. He nodded his head and walked out the door, the others gestured us to follow, so we followed them.
They took us to a large room full of strange technology.
"Sit down over there, we'll get those collars off in a minute." The boy with the red hair said. Mia and I walked over and sat in the two empty chairs.

After a few moments they plugged in some strange device into my collar. It made a few beeping sounds before it gave a different sound. I stayed still as the red haired boy took my collar off. It felt so good to have it off, I rubbed the area, it was all tender and red. Everyone watched as my neck began to heal, it was like they had never seen anything like it before. Once it was fully healed they did the same for Mia, taking her collar off as well.
"There, all done, let's get you two settled in. You'll both be in different rooms due to the gender rule, you'll be in a room with one other person, they will be your roommate. Breakfast is at 9:00am, lunch is at 12:35pm and dinner will be at 5:30pm. All of them is held in the dinner hall, but you can get free snacks throughout the day from the school cafe. You'll join classes with everyone else. You can both start school tomorrow to let you get settled in. I'll give you your timetable at breakfast tomorrow. Jackson I'll take you to your room, and Mia, Kate will take you to your room." He said standing up and walking for the door. The blond haired girl began walking for the door as all the others remained where they were.

I followed the red haired boy to a long hallway, with hundreds of doors, on either side. We walked until we reached a door with the number 233 on the front.
"This is your room." He said opening the door. Inside there was two beds, one on the right and the other on the left and a door at the end in between them. On the left bed there was a boy on his phone, probably texting someone.
"Hey jake, this is Jackson, he's your new room mate. Jackson, this is Jake." The red haired boy introduced us. He threw his phone on his bed and looked me up and down.
"Jake here, is able to fly." The red haired boy continued. "Well, I have things I gotta do, you two get along and Jake help Jackson as much as you can." He said turning around and walking away.
