" I promise I'll get you out of this place ri. " jisoo hugged her best friend for the last time. She didn't know when she'd get a chance to see her again or if there was going to be any chance at all.

"I'm going to miss you." chan-ri sobbed uncontrollably. "t-they a-are monsters. " she whispered in between the sobs.

"I know. " jisoo tried to control her tears and look strong in front of her roomate but despite the effort a tear rolled down her cheek. She felt the same pain she did when she was sixteen and was dragged away from her family. But the shock was a bit lesser this time. She was prepared for such brutality from them. She knew them.

"Get moving you snob! " a soilder came in and dragged jisoo out of the camp.Chan-ri's eyes only stared at her bestfriend who was being pushed and dragged by a soilder merciless. A low sigh escaped her mouth. "I hope to see you again my jisoo. I hope the time comes soon. "

-

"you thought you were clever huh" the man muttered to jisoo as he pushed her into the vehicle. "you're lucky that major didn't shoot you at the scene unlike me!" jisoo gave him a scathed look before he slammed the door and stood attentively to salute the major who soon too got seated in the army vehicle. Although she was clueless and terrified  by her future but in some way she was a bit relieved to get rid of the stations.

-

The ride was quiet, exactly like how she had expected. Deadly silent. It was always suffocating and ugly in the comfort stations that she was convinced the whole place looked like that. But as soon as she got of the vehicle her theory failed miserably. There were wide roads and actual trees. The sky was clearer and the air was clean. She let out a deep breath that she didn't know she was holding in.

After waiting for a while the major got out of the vehicle which meant that jisoo had to get out as well. She obediently  waited until the major joined her but her mind kept going back to her roomate and she couldn't help but feel this sharp hatred that only grew towards the major.

Without looking at the woman that he had brought home, taehyung headed straight to the front door. Jisoo assumed that she had to follow him inside the brick apartment.

The apartment was big enough mostly decorated with old cherry wood furniture. The floor itself was of solid wood. Royal blue curtains were hung along the windows and the wall.. On the wall there was a picture of a beautiful young woman in a white gown. Her smile was the most unique and beautiful smile she had ever seen.  Was it major's wife?  A thought lingered in jisoo's head. Why would he bring home a woman when he had a wife of his own?

"my mother.." a heavy voice shook jisoo out of her thoughts. She hastily turned around to look at him. "that's my mother."He spoke as though she was not living.

For the first time she looked at him. Noticed him. A tall guy with dewy skin and red lips. Eyes were dark and intense. Even in his casual attire he looked so powerful.. So brutal. A surprised look again turned into a firey gaze. There was no room for sympathy in her heart for him just like he did not have any for her.

-

"I didn't bring you here to sleep like a log! " jisoo woke up to taehyung standing in front of her in his uniform. Jaws clenched and eyes shooting right into hers. Immediately she held onto the sheet tight. Her heart started to pound and her eyes became shut.

Her sudden reaction surprised and shocked him at the same time. Her image from the other day appeared in his mind again. He remembered when he opened that door of that camp and she laid there exactly like this. Scared and lifeless. Taehyung immediately stepped back. " I'm not interested in that with you. " he spoke as he cleared his throat. Even though he never did this - forced himself on any girl in those stations neither would he ever but his tone with jisoo concerned him. He didn't want to give her a wrong impression of him. He was the authority himself and she was still in the imperial captivity and still was there to serve him. It was against his job to act like this. That's what he had been taught since the beginning.

Jisoo's eyes flung open. Her throat dried. "w-what? " she stuttered. What else she was brought here for? If not serve as a comfort Woman for the major? Her muscles tensed. She felt even more scared.

"as my personal, it's your duty to cook, clean and maintain my place. " he tried to be as orderly as possible.

Jisoo looked at him in disbelief. The words seemed too unrealistic to be true.

"make sure I don't have to repeat this again. Otherwise -" he stopped. He stopped as he took a glimpse of her. Her big brown eyes.. she looked like a scared little child, listening to his words so carefully for her dear life.

Jisoo tilted her head in confusion.

Taehyng cleared his throat, again. "otherwise you'd have to face the consequences. " he finally spoke. Looking anywhere but at her."everything should be done by evening! " he commanded and left.

For a while jisoo stayed still on the bed. This was the first time in the last three years that she felt a little glimpse of hope. A little glimpse of satisfaction. Just a little.

Soon she rose from the bed. Her feet laid onto a soft white fur carpet. It was softer than the bed she was given in the camps.

Eagrly scanning her surroundings, her eyes laid on the blood stained white shirt of hers. It almost made her puke.

-

She pulled herslef out of that stained shirt and stepped into the shower. Letting the Luke warm water run down her body. A soft moan escaped her mouth as she felt her each and every muscle relax. She then air dried herslef and wore a fresh pair of her white shirt. Those were the only clothes she owned.

If I clean it all well he wouldn't know I was here.
