Tom would not have trading his morning for the world. Even with hangovers Tom wouldn't give them up. He loved rolling over to his one true love sleeping next to him. It was a delight to see every morning. He was so amazed that he had gotten his boyfriend.
The soft handsome man laying next to him would always sleep in. Tom would lay next to him for hours. He'd just soak in the sight. He loved Matt with all of his heart.
He would not have traded him for anything. When Matt would finally wake up he and Tom would share a kiss. Tom would tell him good morning after. Then Matt would say it back with a deep morning voice.
He would lay in Matt's arms as the both watched the outside. Matt was always so warm. It was always so peaceful.
The worst was when it was finally time to get up. Tom always had to leave Matt. He always went to work for 8. Those mornings were the worst for Tom. Matt would still be asleep as Tom wormed his way away.
He'd always kiss Matt and tell him he had work. Matt would hum a response. Along with a gruff I love you. Tom would have to leave in a hurry because Matt would always pull him back into bed.
So when his days off came the time was cherished. No matter if it was cause of work or hunger, Tom always got up first. Matt always fell back asleep after Tom left.
On the rare mornings that Tom slept in, Matt would be up with breakfast. The smell would drag Tom into the living room. It was always heavenly.
Yes mornings were indeed Tom's favorite. However they were only his favorite when his best friend was with him.
