Tord for many years now had been hunting for Edd. He even outlawed cola to get a hold of him. They had just about arrested every brunette they could. Tord had been so frustrated with everything.

He was sitting at his desk leaning over paper work. He hated doing it. Tord stared at the work while drifting further into his own mind.

The knock at the door was a welcome distraction. Tord stood up and fixed his uniform to be perfect. "Come in!" He called.

Pau and Pat opened the door with a struggling brunette between them. "Sir, we think we may have found Edd."

"I told you, I'm not Edd." She said. Her voice was pleading. Pat just glared down at her.

Tord walked around his desk and look closely at her. She had fear in her eyes. While, she did look very similar to Edd, but it was obvious to Tord that this was not him. He turned his gaze to his soldiers.

"Let her go." He said. They looked at him confused and let the girl go. She fell to the floor. Her arms had been tied behind her back. "Untie her."

"Sir, she could be a threat." Pau said.

Tord tapped his chin as though he were thinking. "So, how hard was she to capture?"

"Not very. She did fight." Pau said.

"And, how long did it take for her to be tied?" Tord asked again. The girl on the floor stared up at Tord in awe. She kept glancing between him and the soldiers.

"She didn't really fight. She just cried. But it could be Edd in a disguise." Pat said in awe.

"Does crying sound like something Edd would do?" He asked. The tone in his voice said that he wasn't gonna continue to play this game. Pat sighed and cut the girl's ropes.

"Now get out my sight." Tord told him. The soldiers did as told. The girl sat on the floor, her hair was a mess. It was obvious to Tord that she had her hair in a ponytail when she had been captured. Now her hair was falling out and heir ponytail was only holding a small portion of her hair.

Tord used his human hand to reach out to the girl. "Would you like help up?" She reluctantly took his hand.

"Are you gonna let me go?" She asked softly. Tord sighed and pulled his desk chair around for her.

"Sit." He told her. She did. "I can't let you go."

"What?" She asked. It was obvious the girl was freaking out. "I'm never gonna see my friends? I'm never gonna see my cat?" She started to hyperventilate.

"Hey, hey." Tord said softly. He pulled her hair out of the ponytail. Her hair fell in chocolate waves down her shoulders. She was beautiful. A mess, but beautiful. Tord cupped her cheek. "You're okay. Do you want a cat? I can get you anything you want."

She shook her head. "I want my baby. I raised her since she was a kitten." Tord frowned.

"I'm sorry, baby girl. Can you tell me your name?" He asked her softly.

"Ell." She said softly. Tord was fascinated. This girl looked so much like Edd, even had a name a few letters off and yet, she was not like him. She was too soft.

"Well, Ell, would you like to use the restroom?" Tord asked as he walked over to his personal bathroom. Ell nodded and followed.

He opened the door to his room. He had planned this base out to the T. He knew he wanted his office, bedroom, and bathroom connected. Thusly, he got what he wanted.

When it came down to it. Tord always got what he wanted and as he eyed the girl, he knew he wanted a taste. That taste would have to wait. She needed to trust him more.

After her freshening up in the bathroom she came out. Tord realized that his soldiers must've been very rough with her. Her face had been bruised and clothes were torn in places.

"Let's get you in some better clothes." He told her and walked her to his bedroom. Tord didn't have much, but he did have pjs. He pulled a white t-shirt out and a pair of gym shorts.

Ell looked around the room in amazement. "Is this your room?"

Tord looked around the luxurious room. It was a dark red room with lost of black accents. His bed was covered with silk sheets. He had to admit, he loved his room. He also loved his new roommate.

"You like it?" He asked. Ell nodded. "We can share." He flirted as he handed her the clothes.

Ell flushed. "Well, I'd still rather go home." She said quietly. Shyly she took the clothes from his hand.

Tord shook his head. "I'm sorry baby. I just can't let that happen. See, now you know who I am. You've see the inside of this base. You could jeopardize my whole operation."

Ell looked like she had been punched in the stomach.  "Oh... Where will I sleep?"

Tord smiled. She was so innocent, much like Edd used to be. "Well, don't you think my bed is big? I do. I get lonely at night. So many times I've woken up from a nightmare and wished for someone."

Tord wasn't lying, but he knew it would play at Ell's heart. He had gotten this position by know people. He could read people. So many women would call him a charmer. So many men would say he was a chip off the block. Tord was neither. He just knew what to do or say and when to do so.

Ell walked over to Tord. She looked at his robotic arm and burned face. "Do you have nightmares about what happened to you?" She asked.

Her heart was so pure. Tord could tell. This girl was a fixer. She wanted to fix him. It reminded him of Edd when they first met.

"Yes, it was a pretty traumatic event. I did things I'm not proud of." He told her. She hugged him.

"Okay. If I can't leave then I guess I'll stay with you. At least I know I'll be protected." She said.

"You'll be more than protected, you'll be treated like a princess." Tord told her softly. He hugged her back.

This will be all worth it in the end. A taste of her would be worth everything he would have to sacrifice for her.
