Edd was pacing back and forth. Tamara sat watching him. She was so confused on how he could be so worried over Matt cutting his hand.
"Edd, man, you gotta sit down." She told him. He stopped and looked at her. He flushed with embarrassment. Then sat on the sofa next to her.
"I'm sorry, he was just bleeding so much."
"Yeah, he needs to be more careful with his mirrors, but it was just his palm. It didn't go too deep either. He's stitched up and fine."
"Do you know how he even broke it anyway?" Edd asked.
"Him and Matilda were fighting over it." She explained. "Matilda wanted to look at herself, Matt wanted to look at himself. They dropped it. They tried to clean the glass up and that's what happened."
Edd's leg was bouncing up and down. He couldn't stay still or keep his eyes on one thing.
"Wow Edd you're really worried. Here come with me to the kitchen. I'll get you some coke with a little bit of vodka, it'll calm you down."
"I-I don't know Tam, I think I should be alert." Edd said.
"It won't be enough to affect you that much, just enough to calm you. If you don't want it you don't have to drink it, I just want you to calm down." Tamara explained taking Edd's hand and standing up.
Edd stood up. "Well, if it's not a lot it shouldn't affect me that much, right?" Tamara nodded and smiled at him. She took him to the kitchen pulled some coke, a glass, and a bottle of vodka out. She pored the coke in a glass then added a little bit of vodka. She handed it to Edd.
"Thank you." He murmured. He took a couple sips from it.
"Any better?"
Edd nodded and sat on the bar stool. Tamara took a gulp from the vodka bottle.
"I don't know if Tom told you this, but the reason we're always drinking is because of our nerves." Tamara said leaning down on the counter.
Edd locked 'eyes' with her. "Really?"
"Yeah without it, we act just like you were a few minutes ago. Except we don't really have a reason to be nervous."
"Tamara, I think that's anxiety." Edd said concerned for her. Tamar smile and gave a small giggle.
"I know Edd. We both know. Alcohol helps, when it doesn't, I take medicine. Just don't let Tom know I told you, okay?"
Edd nodded then got up. He walked over to Tamara and pulled her into a big bear hug. Tamara flushed and his random act of affection. She hugged him back.
"Let me know if you have an anxiety attack, okay?" Edd said looking down at a now blushed Tamara. Tamara nodded, she didn't know what else to do.
Edd place a small kiss on her forehead. Tamara was shocked and immediately looked up at him. He smiled. She got on her tippy toes and kiss his cheek."Aawww!" Matilda cried standing in the door way.
Edd and Tamara broke apart.
"M-Matilda! How much of that did you heard?" Tamara asked nervously.
"I didn't hear none of it. Just saw Edd kiss you and you go all sheepish and girly." She teased. Edd chuckled took his glass and left the kitchen.
"So, you and Edd, huh?" Matilda asked.
"Not yet." Tamara murmured blushing at the floor.
