Matilda cuddled up to her housemate mindlessly as she watched the movie. Tori didn't mind. She'd always had a secret soft spot for the girl. Honestly, she had a soft spot for any ginger.
Tori simply wrapped her arm around the girl. She pulled her closer. Matilda hummed happily. Tori smiled down at her.
"You know, I wouldn't trade this for the world." Matilda said.
Tori felt blush burn her cheeks. She cleared her throat and tried not to let her game be thrown off too much. "The feeling is mutual." She told her.
Matilda thought as they cuddled. The movie was about a couple that started as a healthy supportive couple but spiraled into a horrible toxic relationship. She realized how quickly that can happen in real life. The thought scared her.
"Tori?"
"Yes?" She asked. Tori played in Matilda's hair.
"Promise me, we'll never be like the couple in that movie." She said sitting up. It was evident how important this was to her.
Tori kisses Matilda's head. "I would never raise a hand to you."
Matilda looked up, kissing the other girl on the lips. Soon they began to makeout. It wasn't sexual, it was sweet and passionate.

Matilda felt pain come in waves. She placed her hand over her eye. "How could you?" She whispered.
Tori looked at her hand ashamed. Why had she hit her? She could've done something different to handle the situation. She could've done a million things different.
