Tobias x Tris

Chapter 11

Tris POV

The next morning me and Tobias go to the training room a half an hour before we need to. I honestly think that he's kind of the mad that we tied. I don't want to mention it though because him moving out isn't off the table just yet.

We both head in and we go to punching bags right next to each other. After a few minute of punching and giving each other some tips, Tobias stops and comes up behind me.

"Keep tension here" he says as I turn around to look at him.

"No" he says as I turn my head back around. I guess he still is mad.

"Ok" I say trying not to sound like I'm not about to cry even though I am.

"I don't mean it like that" I look back at him confused.

"What I mean is I'm not mad, you get distracted way too easily" he says then I face the punching bag and go at it again.

"Well you are pretty distracting" I don't have to turn around to see him smile.

"I know, now I'm going to try and distract you"
He still has my waists in his soft hands.

"Okay" I say then go back to punching.

"Okay" he says and we both laugh.

First he grabs my waist and try's to turn it, but I keep the tension so he can't. Then he tries to tickle me but I resist.

"Told you I don't get distracted too much" I say but he doesn't stop.

"Hey, I'm not done yet" then he moves his hand into my side and pushes a pressure point. Next you know I'm on the ground and he smiles.

"I don't anyone's going to do that during a fight" he look at me.

"You never know" then he smirks.

The initiates start coming in, well at least I thought. But it's just Azalia.

"Where is everyone else" Tobias asks her.

"You've got to see this" her eyes are wide and look wet probably from crying.

We follow her towards the chasm. When we get there I already know what to expect.

Of course when we get there we see a cold lifeless body getting hoisted out of the chasm.

"Jeromy" she said. I think she had something else to say but she started to cry again.

Some of the other initiates come up to her and hug her.

"Were all going to miss him" Theo reassures her.

"They were dating" he tells us.

I can't imagine what I would do if that happens to Tobias. It was bad enough when Al pitched himself over. I still blame myself.

Tobias POV

Training was canceled today for Jeromy's funeral and after Uriah invited us over for a game of candor or dauntless, his style. I might finally be able to get Tris to go since they aren't doing the original version.

I told him I'd have to ask tris so I went home to ask her.

"Hey Uriah's holding a game of candor or dauntless tonight, want to come?" I ask her.

"Depends how are they playing it?" tris has never gone before because she doesn't want to get drunk.

"Here, ill give you a hint. Wear layers" I tell her and smile.

"Fine" she finally agreed to go.

"Oh just to tell you, Uriah invited the initiates" I didn't want to tell her Adrien was going to be there until she agreed to go.

Tris POV

After word got out that I was going to candor or dauntless, Christina, Shauna, and Marlene show up at my door.

"Guess where were going" of course now she's going to make me go shopping for tonight.

"No" I hate shopping, especially with Chris because IT NEVER ENDS.

"Come on, don't you want to look nice for your boyfriend" I knows there's no way getting out now.

"Fine, you have one hour before I beet the crap out of you" she smiles.

"You can't hurt me, remember that one initiates said your about the size of a 13 year old" she's still smiling.

"You do remember I knocked four out about a week ago" I hate calling him four

"Wait what" I guess no one told her

Then Marlene buts in, " I guess no one told you, the other day tris and four demonstrated a fight for the initiates and tris knocked four out" Chris's eyes widen.

"You won"

"Well not exactly, he grabbed my leg before he went out and knocked me out after he was out" I grin a little

"Chris we have to go before we run out of time" Shauna but's in.

"Yeah you know have 55 minutes" I smile at her.
