Meeting the Headmaster

Y/N walked in silence into the academy. An older woman with blonde hair and green eyes pulled him to the side.

"Wait until the ceremony is over. Mr. Ozpin would like to speak with you." She said to Y/N. Y/N learned the rest of the names of the people he was with in the forest. It seems they were being put into teams of four. Team RWBY, JNPR, and CRDL. Afterwards, the blonde woman took Y/N to an elevator. They rode up to enter a big, open office that looked like clockwork.

"Remain here." She said. Then, the elevator door opened. A man with white hair, glasses, cocoa mug, and a cane walked through.

"Greetings." He said to Y/N.

"Umm.. hi." He said back.

"It seems that you've stumbled upon the initiation course of my school. Care to explain yourself?" He asked.

He was very calm, not intimidating. Y/N didn't know what to say. He came here from dying in his own world. He didn't believe that the man will believe his story.

"You can trust me. My name is Professor Ozpin. I am the headmaster of Beacon Academy. What is your name?" He asked calmly. Y/N realized that since his family forgot he ever existed, he doesn't have a last name. He had to think of one.

"My name... my name is Y/N L/N, Sir." Y/N said.

"Alright, Mr. L/N, care to explain how you got here?" A video of Y/N randomly appearing in the forest was playing. It's as if he just faded into this reality.

"Look, Professor Ozpin. I'm going to be honest with you..."

"As you should." The blonde woman interrupted angrily.

"Glynda, Please." Ozpin calmed her.

"I'm not from this world. I come from another planet far away from here." Y/N said.

"So, an alien? Tell me more." Ozpin said. Glynda wasn't having it. She thought it was a lie, easily.

"In my other world, I died. A supernatural, celestial being gave me the option to come to another planet to live. And I woke up in the forest down there." Y/N said.

"I see." He pushed up his glasses.

"Glynda, care to give us some privacy?"

"Yes, sir." Glynda did as she was told and left Ozpin and Y/N alone. Y/N remembered that he had his phone. He pulled it out and tried to find a picture of his planet in his photos. He got lucky.

"This is my planet. It's called Earth. Also, what's this planet called?" Y/N asked, showing Ozpin the picture.

"Interesting. You my boy, are on Remnant." He said.

"Remnant? That's a cool name." Y/N said.

"What is Earth like?" He asked.

"It has intelligent people, animals, plants, Large biomes. Stuff like that. This planet seems pretty similar except for those large black creatures."

"Ah, yes. The creatures of Grimm."

"The creatures of Grimm?"

"Yes, they are the creatures of darkness, they are drawn towards despair and fear. This school was built for the reason of killing them."

"So that's why those students had large weapons and stuff, right?"

"Correct."

"It's weird to me. Back on Earth, Weapons are banned everywhere, except for the military, and hunting animals."

"I see. Do you understand what Aura is and what a Semblance is?"

"No, Sir."

"Have you had any combat experience?"

"No, sir."

"How old are you?"

"I am 15 years of age, sir."

"Without Aura, you're at a high risk of dying. You will remain at my school to train. You will also be here as a means of education. Now, all the teams were already made. The relics were used to figure out who will be on teams."

"Well, I did find this thing."

Y/N pulled out a silver 6 sided die from his pocket.

"Interesting. I haven't seen that in a long time. We only used that if there was one extra to go through initiation. It seems you've got some luck. If you would roll the die please." Ozpin said. Y/N rolled the die and landed on a 3.

"Good. You will be joining team RWBY it seems. Now, being put on a team means that you have sworn an oath to protect your teammates as well as your leader with your life. It is important that you work together and stay as a team." Ozpin said, getting more serious into the conversation.

"Are you ready?" He asked Y/N.

"Yes sir." Y/N replied.

"With that being said, you will need your scroll."

"Scroll?"

"It's a device that will help you unlock your locker and your dorm room. It is also a device to make calls and messages." Seemed similar to a phone for Y/N. Y/N took the scroll.

"Thanks."

"You should head down to the infirmary to be tested. Then, head to your dorm room." Ozpin said.

"Thank you." Y/N said. Y/N went to the elevator and touched the screen to the bottom floor.

Glynda waited at the bottom.

"I'll take you to the infirmary."

"How much did you hear?"

"All of it actually. I can't believe he put you into the school." She said. Y/N finally got to the infirmary.

"Ozpin told the nurse everything about you, so you won't have to explain everything to her."

"Alright." Y/N went in. He did his examinations. It took about 2 hours long. After it was over, he looked at his scroll. He saw the room number and walked around Beacon. He got looks from people. He forgot to realize he was wearing clothing that wasn't from Remnant. Even then, he still wouldn't think people would give him mean looks. He found his building and went inside. He walked up the stairs to the right room.

He hesitated, then knocked on the door.
