Team RWBY+_ were in the dorm room along with General Ironwood. Two Atlesian knights stood at the door with plasma rifles, guarding the room.

"I'm sorry, but you left us with no choice." Ironwood spoke.

"But he attacked me!" Yang protested angrily.

"Video footage and millions of viewers say otherwise."

"But Yang would never do that!" Weiss argued in Yang's defense. Ruby stood up.

"Yeah!" She agreed with Weiss.

"I know Yang isn't the person to punch a guy after a match is over. I can't help but think something is up with Mercury and Emerald. I just can't put my finger on it. It reminds me of back when Coco and Yatsuhashi were fighting the two... Coco thought she saw Yatsu in the forest with her, but he was actually all the way in the cave area still fighting Mercury. Makes no sense if you ask me." Y/N said, trying to help the situation. Ironwood gave a long sigh.

"You all seem like good students. The staff here at Beacon are fully aware that you would never lash out at somebody the way you did... Under normal circumstances. I hope to believe that this is only a result of stress, and adrenaline. Sometimes in the battlefield, even after the battle is over, you can still see things that aren't even there." Ironwood explained. He seemed to have the face of a man who has been through many wars.

"But it wasn't..."

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" Ironwood scolded Yang.

"The truth is... Whether it was an accident or an assault, doesn't matter. The world saw you attack an innocent student. They've already drawn their own conclusions. It's my job to inform you that you're disqualified." Ironwood finished his sentence, leaving the room with sadness and confusion.

"You guys believe me, right?" Yang asked.

"Duh."

"You're hotheaded, but not ruthless."

"Sorry for my language, but this is bullshit! I don't believe for a second that it was Yang's fault!" Y/N yelled.

"Blake...?"

"I want to believe you..."

"What's that supposed to mean?!" Weiss said to her with an angry face.

"Blake?" Yang had tears in her eyes.

"How could you say something like that? Yang would never lie to us! She's our friend, Blake." Y/N crossed his arms.

"I had someone very dear to me change. It wasn't in an instant... It was gradual, little choices that began to pile up. He told me not to worry. At first it was accidents... then self defense.... before long, I began to think he was right. This is all just very familiar. but you're not him, and you've never done anything like this before, so I want to trust you. I will trust you. First, I want you to look me in the eyes and tell me if he attacked you first, and if you regret what you did." Blake went into a deep conversation about her past. Yang dried up her tears with her hands and looked Blake in the eyes.

"I saw him attack me first, so I attacked back." She said seriously.

"Okay... Thank you." Blake said with a smile.

"So, we're all on the same page that Yang is not at fault here, right?" Y/N asked the team.

"Of course."

"I think I'm going to rest up." Yang said.

"We'll get out of your hair." Blake said as everyone left the room except Yang.

"This is a mess..." Weiss said as Jaune opened his door.

"Is she doing okay?" The rest of team JNPR looked through the door with a sad expression, awaiting a response.

"She's doing the best she can, Jaune." Blake answered.

"I heard Mercury and his team rushed back to his family. Until they land, they can't question them." Ruby said.

"I doubt it..." Y/n spoke up.

"What?"

"I didn't trust them from the start, and I still don't. I believe they're up to something. I just don't know what. We need to keep a close eye on them, if they're still here at least."

"If there is anything we can do, please don't hesitate to ask." Ren offered.

"Alright... If that's the case... Pyrrha." Ruby got her attention.

"Hmmm?"

"Make sure to win one for Beacon!" Ruby cheered a bit.

"It's what Yang would want." Weiss said.

"I'll... do my best!"

*Later that Evening on the Helipads*

Ruby was walking around when she found Velvet taking pictures of various students. Velvet turned around, noticing her.

"Ruby!"

"Hi, Velvet! What are you up to?"

"Oh you know, just working on my photography. You wanna see?" Velvet showed a picture of Sun.

"That's... Better!" Ruby said sarcastically

"Im... Sorry to hear about your sister. Is she doing okay?"

"Yeah.. Shes fine. Thanks."

"I think its awful what people are saying about her. Shes such a nice person."

"Im glad someone thinks so."

"Most people don't know what its like on the battlefield. Even experienced fighters can get scared and start seeing things. If It can happen to Coco.. It can happen to anyone."

"Coco?"

"She swore she saw Yatsu in the forest with her, but he never made it out of the geyser fields."

"You know, Y/N was talking to me about that earlier today. I didn't know what to think of it, but now that I heard it from you, I dont think its natural."

"Oh yeah, about Y/N... Ive been hearing around that he and you are a couple now. Is it true?" Velvet had a bright smile on her face. Rubys face went a bit red.

"Y-yeah its true..."

"Awe that's adorable! I need to get a picture of you two soon." She said. Ruby chuckled a bit.

*Later that Night in the Arena*

Ruby and Y/N sat down in their seats together. They looked around the entire arena until they locked eyes with none other than Emerald.

"Emeralds... here?"Ruby had a worried expression. She got up and walked up to the door leading to the backrooms of the arena, Y/N following behind her.

"It... Seems I was right, huh?" The two walked within the long corridors of the arena.

"I don't know.... why is she here? I thought she was.." Ruby and Y/N stopped to see Mercury walk out of a room with a smug look on his face. She had surprised and sad look on her face.

"Mercury..?"

"IT LOOKS LIKE OUR FIRST CONTENDER IS... PENNY POLENDINA FROM ATLAS!" Professor Port announced from outside.

"What are you doing?"

"AND HER OPPONENT WILL BE... PYRRHA NIKOS FROM BEACON ACADEMY!" He announced the second contender. Ruby looked down, sad. Y/N realized something.

"You bastard... I knew you and Emerald were up to something..." Y/N got angry. Rubys eyes widened with shock. She realized something as well.

"No...."

"Ohh. Polarity vs Metal... That could be bad." Mercury taunted as Ruby reached for her weapon, which wasn't there. Mercury got into fighting stance. Penny and Pyrrha were in the arena, ready to fight.
