The gang made it to Vale and they were walking around town. Y/N looked at the cool city while everyone was just casual about it.

"Wow. This city is kinda cool." Y/N said. He looked at some shops that held clothing.

Y/N then stopped and turned around to face the team.

"So which one of you is the weapons expert?" He asked.

One small hand was raised behind the team. It was Ruby. She jumped up and down to make her arm seem longer.

"I am! I am!" She yelled. She then composed herself.

"I'm a bit of a geek/dork/nerd (whatever your poison) when it comes to weapons. That's why I built this one." Ruby said, pulling out her scythe.

"Whoa! You built that?" Y/N asked, surprised to see that she could build something like that.

"Yep! With the help of my Uncle Qrow. It's also a high caliber, high impact, customizable sniper rifle." Ruby said, putting it into a smaller, compact version.

"It's also a gun? Jeez. You guys and your weapons." Y/N said. They kept walking around until they see a closed-down Dust Til' Dawn store.

"It's still here." Ruby said.

"What?" Y/N asked, curious.

"This is the place where I stopped Roman's robbery. I was in there, reading a magazine about weapons, listening to my music on my headphones." Ruby went and pointed towards the back of the store from the window.

"Then I was getting mugged. I beat the guy and threw him out the window. Then I beat a couple others. Roman came out and ran up to that roof." Ruby said pointing to the roof with the ladder that Roman climbed up.

"Then afterwards, a giant ship came up and started attacking me. That's when Glynda Goodwitch showed up and helped me. They ran away though." Ruby finished her small flashback of a story.

"Wow. That's how you got into Beacon early, huh?" Y/N asked, stunned by the story.

"Yep. I'm proud of it." Ruby laughed.

"I know I am." Yang Said giving Ruby a big hug.

"Yang... please stop.." Ruby said getting embarrassed.

Yang let her go while laughing.

"Ooh! There it is! The weapons and weapon accessories store. That's where I got my parts for Crescent Rose." Ruby said, hugging her scythe before putting it away again.

"We're gonna walk around a bit, you two go on ahead. You know more about weapons than we do." Yang said.

"Alrighty sis'. I'll call you when we're done to figure out where you're at." Ruby said.

"Okay. See ya." Blake said.

"Bye guys." Y/N said, waving them off.

Y/N and Ruby walk in the store. When they got in, Y/N looked around, marveling at all the weaponry. There were swords, daggers, spears, javelins, hammers, guns, ammo, even some dust crystals. Basically, GameStop but with weaponry everywhere. Ruby stood there in front of Y/N with a smug and mighty look.

"Welcome to paradise!" Ruby said, holding her arms out in glory, standing proud. Y/N clapped.

"Well done. Well done indeed." Y/N calmly praised. They both shared a laugh. They went up to the counter to see the clerk. He wasn't there. There was a shiny, silver bell on the counter. Ruby rang the bell. A middle-aged man with gray hair, faint stubble, sideburns and earrings came out the door from the back. He had a tattoo of a gecko is on the left side of his neck near the back. He wore a gray hat with yellow ear defenders, a black turtleneck sweater, a long gray coat with a red peace symbol on it, blue jeans and dark boots.
