The Start of Something Annoying

A couple weeks later everyone was in the arena watching Cardin and Jaune practice. It was Mrs. Goodwitch's class. Jaune ended up losing the fight. Cardin was a mean dude.

"You must learn to use your Aura correctly Mr. Arc." Glynda Said. After the class ended, everyone went to the lunchroom to eat. Everyone was in their normal places.

"So... there we were... in the middle of the night." Nora said eerily.

"It was day." Ren Said plainly.

"We were surrounded by Ursai."

"They were beowolves."

"There were dozens of them!!" Nora stood up.

"There were two of them." Ren Said, Nora taking her seat.

"But they were no match. And in the end Ren and I took them down and made a boatload of lien selling Ursa skinned rugs." Nora said happily.

"She's been having this recurring dream for about a month now." Ren Said, sighing. Jaune was picking at his food, not eating it at all. Pyrrha turned to him.

"Jaune, are you okay?" She asked. She got his attention.

"Huh? What? Oh yeah I'm fine. Why?" Jaune asked.

"Well, you seem a little... not okay." Ruby said.

"Yeah, I can agree. You're picking at your food and you haven't been talking much. Something seems wrong." Y/N said to him.

"Guys, I'm fine. Seriously. Look." Jaune did a thumbs up and forced a smile. He chuckled a little bit. Everyone then heard Cardin and his team laughing at a girl with bunny ears. Y/N looked over. He saw the girl being bullied by Cardin. Y/N got angry. He stood up. Ruby grabbed his wrist.

"Y/N, no. Don't cause a scene. It's not worth it. Please sit down. You'll get hurt." She said to him.

"Believe me when I tell you it is worth it. No one should be bullied. No matter what they look like or who they are." Y/N said looking into Ruby's eyes with confidence and anger. Blake smiled a little. She nodded and let go. Everyone turned around and watched Y/N walk over to Cardin.

"See I told you they were real." Cardin said touching the girl's ears. The rest of his team laughed along. Y/N tapped his shoulder. He turned around.

"Huh? What do you want?" He asked.

"I want you to stop messing with this girl. She is clearly not liking it." Y/N Said. Cardin stood up, towering Y/N. He leaned over Y/N. Everyone at the table was worried about Y/N.

"So what? She's a freak? She shouldn't even be here." Cardin Said. Y/N wasn't fazed by his height.

"So what? I'm also a freak. Actually more of a freak than she is. I'm not even from this planet. But that doesn't give you any right to bully her. So, leave her alone." Y/N Said.

"Pshh, you're that alien scum. What if I don't?" Cardin asked angrily, trying to scare Y/N. Y/N grabbed his armor, and brought Cardin's head down to his head height

"Then I'll have a reason to pull the trigger." Y/N Said seriously in an angry tone. He put Ocelot against the bottom Cardin's jaw, pulling the hammer back. Cardin backed away slowly. Y/N put Ocelot away.

"I won't forget this. I swear it. Let's get out of here guys." Cardin said to his team. They walked off, out of the cafeteria. Y/N sat next to the girl.

"You alright? I'm sorry that happened." Y/N tended to the girl.

"I'm fine. Thanks. I'm Velvet." She said.
