The First Fight

(kept you waiting, huh? I'm back with another chapter. I think this book is becoming increasingly popular. I like that. I hope everyone is liking it. so, i don't know what im going to do about the large ass fight scenes. do i wanna actually write each of them in detail? or do i wanna like skim over it? either way, ill do this one first to see how it goes. anyways, lets get goin.)

The first fight has already started between team RWBY-_ and team ABRN. Team ABRN comprised of Arslan, Bolin, Reese, and Nadir, from Haven Academy. Y/N could've had the best seat in the house, or... Colosseum for that matter, but he chose to sit where his team would sit. See, he can't participate in the tournament for two reasons: One being the lack of an Aura or Semblance; The second being that he is the fifth member of the team. Either way, he sat in the stands and watched the two teams duke it out. The arena looked really cool. Surprisingly, it could change terrain to whatever it wanted to. At the moment, it was half fire, half ice. Everyone, human and Faunus, cheered loudly as the teams were fighting.

"Huh, this arena reminds me of Todoroki, from My Hero... Funny that." The boy said to himself, referring to the arena. Team RWBY and ABRN exchanged a couple blows and they regrouped into the separate sides of the arena. Ruby was looking around for something, or someone.

"Ruby, pay attention!!" Weiss snapped at Ruby.

"I'm trying to find Y/N." Ruby explained.

"That doesn't matter right now, we have bigger fish to fry." Yang said, loading her gauntlets. Ruby looked around until she saw his smiling face. He gave her a thumbs up and a wink. She smiled back and waved, her face having a slight pink glow. She quickly composed herself with a deep breath and got ready. Professor Port and the stunningly handsome Dr. Oob- WAIT THIS WASN'T IN THE SCRIPT WHAT THE F-. As he was saying, the stunningly handsome Dr. Ooblek were speaking the rules out for the tournament. To Y/N, the rules seemed pretty fair and balanced, not like your standard Overwatch game, am I right? Anyhow, the fight is going under way.

*Kick on the Coolio music, baby*

Blake was the first to fight Reese. It seemed that she had a hoverboard as a weapon.

"Wow! A real hoverboard. I wonder if it'll explode into flames if it charges too long on the battery." Y/N laughed to himself. Reese threw her hoverboard at Blake, only for Blake to whack it back. Reese repeated the action again, but harder, only for Blake to do the same. Blake charged at Reese attacking her a couple times, knocking her back. Reese then jumped on her hoverboard, about to ram Blake when Blake smirked and used her semblance to trick her and cut the hoverboard in half. Reese did a backflip, her hoverboard turning into two small pist--WHAM!! Her ass hit the ice. Blake covered her mouth in shock. Y/N laughed his ass off.

Next was Yang, fighting Arslan. They focused solely on hand to hand combat in the fiery side of the arena. After exchanging a few attacks, Yang got tripped up by a secret string from her opponent, then she was kicked over to the ice side. She tried to get up, but was punched away, landing right next to Nadir, who was ready to attack until a shot of ice struck him in the legs, freezing him in place. He pouted and looked over to the one who shot the ice bullet. It was none other than Ruby Rose. She was in a sniper's position.

"Got your back!" She yelled to her older sister with a smile.

"Yeah, Ruby!!" Y/N Yelled from the stands.

"Whose got yours?" Bolin asked from behind Ruby. She turned around to see him with a staff, ready to attack. A large glyph appeared to his left, then Weiss came out of nowhere, dropkicking him away from Ruby.

"My BFF!" Ruby said to Weiss as she got up.

"No..." Weiss said sternly, running away.

"Yes..." Ruby said to herself with a smile. She and Weiss went together to try and take down Bolin, but he had other plans. He dodged all of their attacks and cut down a small, red dust crystal. He threw it at Reese and she put it in her hoverboard, changing the color from green to red. She hopped on her hoverboard and went over to Nadir, unfreezing his legs with the heat of the dust infused board. Blake was going to get her for sure. She had a plan. She ran away and hid. Blake then made a copy of herself to fool Reese, which worked as she fell for the bait. Blake used her ribbon to clothesline Reese by the stomach and kick her out of the ring, disqualifying her.
