All Jazzed Up

(KEPT YOU WAITING, HUH!! YES. I'M FINALLY BACK AFTER SO LONG. I'm sorry it's been a while since I've done a chapter. I have been dealing with college work and other stuff. I've been watching other anime and playing games too. But, it's almost time for everything to start going downhill. I'm excited. I have a good plot in mind and it's going to be extra cool. Well, let's get this shit started, shall we?)

The morning sun broke through the windows once more as the rays of light hit Y/N's eyes perfectly, waking him.

"Jeez... Why is it that I have to wake up first? Oh right, I sleep on the floor." Y/N got up from his sleeping bag and stretched, yawning in the process. Next came a very young and feminine yawn from the top left bunk, which could only mean that Ruby was awake. Y/N snickered to himself and tiptoed over to her bunk.

"Psst.. Ruby, you up?" He whispered.

"Mhmm." She sounded half asleep. She lifted the curtain to her bed and rubbed her eyes, her hair all messy from sleeping. She was wearing her usual pajamas.

"Morning, sleepy head." Y/N smiled at her.

"Morning, silly...whoaaAAAAA" She started to get out of her bed, but lost her footing, falling on top of Y/N. The boy opened his eyes a couple seconds later to see the girl on him as they were on the floor. Not only did he see Ruby, but he also saw probably the most horrifying thing in existence: An Angry Yang. She pulled her foot back.

"Oohhhh Shi-"

(SMALL BLACKOUT LATER)

Y/N was sitting on the floor next to Ruby. Yang was standing in front of them with her arms crossed and an angry expression.

"Can you please explain why my little sister was on top of you? You better give a good reason or things are going to not be okay for you."

"It was an accident! I swear! She fell out of her bed!" Y/N tried to save himself.

"Yeah, I slipped when I was getting out of my bed and I fell on him. Please don't be mad at him! It was my fault, not his." Ruby defended Y/N. Yang dropped her arms and sighed.

"Good. I thought you were trying to pull something on my sister." Yang smiled. After a while, everyone else woke up. The next battle was going to start soon so everyone got dressed.

"Alright, everyone. Are we ready to go?" Yang asked team RWBY+_. Y/N and Ruby looked at each other.

"I.. would like to... uh... a-announce something." Ruby stammered, hanging her head down. She was sweating nervously. Everyone turned to her. Y/N was right next to her, smiling.

"What is it, Ruby?" Yang asked.

"I... I.. uhh. Y/N a--" Y/N noticed that Ruby was having trouble. He held her hand and smiled, looking at everyone. Ruby looked at him.

"R-Ruby and I are dating." Y/N said plainly. Yang smiled.

"Ruby, you got a boyfriend before I did? Totally not fair." She said.

"Yang, we talked about it before it happened. Don't act like you didn't already know." Ruby said.

"Congratulations, you two." Blake smiled at the two children.

"I hate to say it, but you two make a great couple." Weiss crossed her arms.

"Thanks, guys." Ruby said cheerfully.

"You guys head on to the bullheads and wait for us, I'd like to speak with Y/N first." Yang said walking over to Y/N. Everyone else walked out the door. Y/N ruffled Ruby's hair.
