(Kept you waiting, huh? I hope everyone enjoyed the emotional trainwreck that was last chapter. Here is the part, and next chapter, where the plot is going to get pretty damn THICC. I hope you all enjoy. Let's get goin!)
Down in the hole where Ruby fell down, she was being beat down by Roman with his cane. There was an entire underground city under the abandoned city itself. A train was there, being loaded up.
"Wow, you are much more manageable without that oversized garden tool." Roman said, taunting the girl. She got mad and ran up to try and tackle him. It clearly failed. He laughed.
"You know, Perry, I think I really did need this." He said looking back at a stunningly handsome and cool white fang member named Perry. The godlike goon simply did a thumbs up, because Roman wasn't worthy to hear his words of judgement. Roman laughed again.
"But seriously, how'd you find this place, Red?" He said getting close to her.
"Y/N and my team are on their way to help me." Ruby said before using her semblance to dash off.
"Whoa!" Roman turned around. Ruby was running away at a fast pace. Torchwick simply turned his cane around and fired the hook of the cane at her, catching her in her hood. she was then dragged by the hook. Then a large explosion came from around the corner of an underground building.
"Perry, if you and the boys could take care of that. Kinda in the middle of something here." Roman ordered. Perry just nodded. He didn't need to speak. He was such an ascended being of life. He knew his role. He started to walk over when another explosion occurred.
"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!" A final explosion sent white fang members flying away. It was Y/N leading the team down into the underground city to rescue Ruby. Ruby was excited and started to run really fast.
"Somebody kill her!!" Roman ordered his goons. Ruby dodged a lot of the bullets. She slowed down and came upon 4 guards with guns. Ruby closed her eyes in fear. Just as they were about to shoot, Y/N came in and stabbed one of them in the chest, turning the guy sideways. The guard started shooting randomly from the muscle spasms he was going through and shot 2 of the other guards. Lastly, Y/N pulled out his revolver and started spinning it, walking towards the goon. Y/N then threw the gun up in the air and punched the guy in the nose. Y/N then caught the gun and shot him in the head. He sheathed his sword and holstered his revolver. Ruby looked up to see that nobody was shooting. She only saw Y/N.
"Y/N!" She smiled.
"Kept You Waiting, Huh? Jeez, this is the second time I've saved you. You're gonna have to find some way to pay me back." He laughed, holding his hand down to her. She took it and got up, blushing a little.
"Thanks.."
"Anytime, now lets head back to the team. I bet you have information to give them."
With that, Ruby ran into Yang's arms. She explained that the train was loaded up with weapons, mechs, and other things. A loud intercom system rang.
"EVERYONE GET TO YOUR STATIONS. WE ARE LEAVING NOW!" Roman said. The train started moving.
"We are stopping that train." Ruby said. Everyone was able to get on the train fast enough. Everyone looked into the first train car. It was rigged.
"It's a bomb! Run!" Y/N said jumping to the next car to open the hatch. Everyone followed. There was another bomb. The mechs came to life with people as if Titanfall actually existed. Then, Ooblek used Zwei as a baseball and batted him towards the mech. Zwei flew through the air in a fireball. he then slammed into the mechs, destroying them.
"What the heck is that dog made of?" Y/N asked. Everyone jumped into their own train car, while Ruby, Y/N, Ooblek, and Zwei were on top, taking care of Grimm and white fang members. Ruby and Y/N were fighting side by side, Ruby accidentally smacked the back end of her scythe into Y/N causing him to fall off the train. He screamed. Ruby looked back to see Y/N fall. She was in shock. Y/N curled into a ball to not take as much damage he rolled down a mysterious cave system. Ruby felt really bad. She didn't know if he was alive or not. She could only hope...
Y/N finally came to a stop from tumbling by his face hitting a puddle of water that was dripping from the stalactites on the ceiling of the cave. He got up and wiped his face off, trying to look around. He saw a faint glow of light. He walked towards it, hitting a couple walls and rocks along the way because it was so damn dark. When he got to the source of the light, he was astonished. There sat a room filled with blue and purple crystals, and a small pedestal with something on top of it. Y/N went closer to inspect what was on the pedestal. It was a ring...

It was pretty, but, why was it here? What was it's purpose? Y/N reached out and grabbed the ring. Held it in his hand and inspected it. He could sense a source of power within it. An object of importance. He decided to put it on. He thought it was a magic ring that could grant him powers. He was scared too, that it might kill him instead. The ring was inches close to his left, ring finger. A large crash was heard throughout the cavern. He quickly pulled the ring away in shock.
"The heck was that?" He asked himself. He walked towards the sound, putting the ring in his pocket.
"I'll have to show this to Ozpin." He added. He saw a small opening. Y/N hopped out and saw a city being overrun by Grimm.
"Ah shit, here we go again." He said, unsheathing his sword.
(sorry this was a pretty small chapter. The next chapter is probably going to be small too. Sadly, volume 2 doesn't end with a bang like volume 1 did. Either way, what do you think this ring is about? Thanks for reading. see you next time.)
