Getting the Goods

The next day came. It was bright and sunny. The beams of sunlight came through the window. It woke Y/N up first. Y/N showered and got dressed. He then grabbed his phone, wrote on a piece of paper, taped it to the dorm door, and went to the cafeteria. After several minutes of him being gone, Yang woke up. After that, everyone did. They all got changed into their normal combat clothing. They noticed that Y/N was gone.

"Now where could he be?" Yang asked.

"There's a note on the door." Blake said.

"'I went to the cafeteria for breakfast. I hope to see you guys there if you wake up fast enough.'" Weiss said, reading the note. She crumbled up the paper and threw it away in the trash can in the room. They all went down to the cafeteria. Y/N was sitting with team JNPR, who was also eating breakfast as well.

"Morning!" Ruby smiled as she sat beside Y/N with her food.

"Sup." Yang Said as she sat next to Blake.

"Good morning." Blake said as she sat next to Weiss.

"Hmph." Weiss sat next to Ruby.

"Morning guys." Y/N greeted them happily.

"Did you sleep better last night, Y/N?" Ruby asked.

"Yeah. Yeah I did." Y/N Said.

"That's good." Yang said. Everyone ate their food and went back to the dorm room.

"Man the cafeteria is pretty good here." Y/N Said.

"You said it." Yang agreed.

"Hey! Maybe we should take Y/N to Emerald Forest after he gets his weapon to train him." Ruby said.

"That's a great idea." Yang Said.

"I don't know. He doesn't have an Aura, or a Semblance yet. It could be dangerous for him." Blake said.

"Maybe he'll unlock it during training like me." Ruby suggested.

"I think it's still a good idea so he can be ready to fight when classes start. He will at least know basics for killing Grimm." Weiss said.

"Then it's settled." Ruby said. For a while, Blake was at the library, Yang, Ruby, and Y/N were playing video games on their scrolls, and Weiss was taking a walk around campus. Ruby's scroll rang. She picked it up.

"Hey Ruby, the kid's sword is ready to be picked up. I must say I'm actually proud of this one." Iwai Said.

"Really? Sweet. We'll be right down." Ruby said.

"Later." Iwai hung up.

"Alright Y/N. Your weapon is ready. Let's head down there." Ruby said, standing up.

"Just 5 more minutes? I'm beating Yang." Y/N Said, totally into the game he and Yang were playing. (It's a Remnant version of Super Smash Bro's Ultimate)

"You have been beating me. I thought I was the best at this game." Yang said angrily. Y/N ended up winning by a landslide.

"Yes!! Haha!" Y/N put his scroll down and threw his hands up.

"Good game, Y/N." Yang Said holding her hand out in defeat. Y/N shook it respectfully.

"Alright. I'm going with Ruby to get my weapon. We'll be back." Y/N said waving them off. Y/N and ruby went down to Vale and to the weapons and weapon accessory shop from yesterday. They walked in.

"Hmph. Good to see you kids back." Iwai Said lounging at the counter. He stood up and went to the back. He came back a minute later with a large sheath with the weapon inside. He handed it to Y/N and he put it on his back. Y/N then took it out of its sheath. It looked marvelous.
