JNPR and SSSN

(kept you waiting, huh? Here's another chapter full of basically just fighting. I don't wanna skip it because I kinda like the fight scenes so I am going to do them anyways. This may or may not be a short chapter so don't hate, alright? without further ado, lets get goin!)

The battle between JNPR and BRNZ was about to start. Team BRNZ consisted of Brawns, Roy(Not from Fire Emblem), Nolan(Not Nolan North), and May(Not to be confused with Mei). They were from Shade Academy in Vacuo. The timer counted down.

Team JNPR charged in while three of team BRNZ went in. May went back into the trees and transformed her weapon into a sniper rifle.

"Hey, she has a sniper rifle too!" Ruby pointed out.

"Not as cool as yours though." Y/N commented.

"True that. Nothing is as cool as Crescent Rose." She bragged.

Pyrrha was the first to start the fight by attacking Brawns. Nora then went to attack Nolan, only to miss her hammer swings, while May fired at Ren, missing and hitting a rock, breaking it apart. Jaune was blocking the attacks of Roy, until he noticed May in the back, sniping.

"RETREAT!!!" He yelled. Everyone followed him behind the cover of rocks.

"What do we do?" Pyrrha asked. Jaune looked at the other team coming at them, thinking of a plan.

"I don't see why they can't just let Pyrrha do the work. She is far more skilled than the rest of her team." Weiss complained.

"I can agree, Weiss. She could probably beat them all pretty easily, but that isn't just it. The tournament Is not only about skill, but it's about how well you and your team can work together to solve a problem, or handle a situation. That's why you guys won last match." Y/N explained to the heiress.

"Spread out! Try to keep moving." Jaune ordered as he and the rest of his team went out to fight everyone individually. May jumped up higher into the tree to get a better vantage point.

"Jeez, hopefully she doesn't have wallhacks" Y/N said, referring to Widowmaker from Overwatch.

It was Ren vs Nolan and May. Nolan had a stun baton. May then shot at Ren's feet, making him dodge around as Nolan attacked. Nolan then stunned him in the stomach, causing him to fall. Nora didn't like this.

"Ren!" She got angry and charged at Nolan, who stunned her. She was.... tanking it... Jeez she's just like Reinhardt. It seemed that she could use electricity to strengthen herself. That's kind of a bad matchup between her and Nolan. She then shoved Nolan into a large rock, breaking it. Jaune looked up at the mountain top, seeing thunderstorms form. He had an idea.

"Nora, get to the top of that mountain!"

"You got it!" She yelled, running up the mountain.

"Ren, distract the sniper!"

"Sure... Why not...." Ren said, running around. Roy had sawblades on his wrists for melee and ranged purposes.

"Yeah! Go get him Jaune!!" Ruby cheered. Pyrrha was basically doing a 1v2 between Brawns and Roy, and she was winning. May shot at Ren, who was running really fast. Ren fought Nolan and got him into a lock. May then got her attention to Nora, who was climbing the mountain.

"Pyrrha, up!" Jaune yelled. Pyrrha ran towards Jaune and he used his shield to boost Pyrrha in the air to block the bullet, sending her a distance away. Nora finally got to the top of the mountain and held her hammer up. The lightning struck it. She then turned her hammer into a grenade launcher and launched 6 grenades at May's position, making her retreat to another area. When the grenades hit, it burned down a large portion of the forest area. Nora then jumped off the mountain smashing the center of the stage, creating a crater.

"Alright, guys. Let's finish them off with team attacks. Ren, Nora. Flower power!"

"Wait.. What?" Team JNPR started discussing the whole, 'team attack' thing for a while.

"HEY! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!" Brawns yelled at the team angrily, getting their attention.

"Trying to have a team meeting, thank you very little!" Jaune said back.

"WE'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF A FIGHT!!"

"AND WE'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF A CONVERSATION, WHAT DON'T YOU GET ABOUT THAT?!"

Jaune sighed.

"Nora... Just hit them with the hammer..."

"......Got it..." She smirked evilly.

"Wait, What?" Brawns was confused. Then simply, Nora smacked them all out of the arena, claiming team JNPR's victory. Everyone cheered for the winning team. The arena soon reverted back to normal and the center was automatically fixed.

The next battle was now between team SSSN and team NDGO. Team SSSN was comprised of Sun, Scarlet, Sage, and Neptune. team NDGO was comprised of Nebula, Dew, Gwen, and Octavia.

Both teams took their places on the arena floor, ready to fight.

"Alright, girls, remember, above the waist." Neptune teased them right off the bat.

"Don't listen to him, for He's.... He's dumb." Sun said. The stage randomizer chose desert rocks for team NDGO's Side and the ocean for team SSSN's side. Neptune was flipping out.

"Uhh. What's wrong with Neptune?" Ruby asked. Blake put her hand to her face in disappointment.

"Oh no." She said.

"Blake... Don't tell me... is Neptune... Afraid of the water?" Y/N asked.

"Yep..."

"Figures.. couldn't be any more ironic.."

"Yep."

Neptune was almost petrified.

"3, 2, 1, Let's start the fight!" Ooblek said. Everyone started running towards the center as Neptune ran right past everyone and climbed the giant desert mountain.

"NEPTUNE, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Sage yelled angrily.

"Oh, you know, just getting the high ground!" Neptune yelled.

"On the enemy side?!" Sun yelled.

"They'll never expect it!"

"He's not wrong.." Dew said with a shrug.

"Return fire!" Nebula ordered. The first fight was with Octavia and Scarlet. Octavia was sliding on the sand as if she was snowboarding and ducked under Scarlet's attack. Sage and Dew were fighting as well. Sage had a giant ass sword much like the one from the anime, Berserk. (if anyone's seen that. If not, watch it. its good.) Dew then created a couple sandy whirlwinds surrounding Sage. They turn into one vortex, lifting Sage and sending him flying out of the ring. A couple more brawls occur an Sun kicks Octavia straight in the head from above. He then pulled out his staff and beat her down. She was now out. Three on three.

A stray vortex sent Scarlet flying to the sunken pirate ship in the ocean side. Nebula fought Scarlet on the mast like real pirates. So cool. He ended up winning the brawl, which resulted in Nebula getting pushed off and Gwen being stung up to the mast. Gwen held her skirt so no one would see her... undergarments. Small knives fell from her skirt and Scarlet managed to dodge them all luckily.

It was Sun vs Dew and he had an idea. He punched a tree and threw two coconuts at Dew. She hit them back twice as hard. Sun dodged them both, but Scarlet ended up getting hit in the head, then the groin, causing him to be out of the match. Everyone cringed.

"Oooh That's gotta hurt." Y/N said.

"Yeah, that hit him right in the gut." Ruby said.

"Sure..."

"Nuts..." Sun said. He and Neptune were arguing about helping each other out. Then Neptune simply put his stick into the water and zapped the opponents out of commission. Team SSSN was victorious. Yang stood up.

"C'mon. Let's congratulate them." She said, as everyone followed. Weiss was happy to see a ship flying towards Beacon. After saying hi and congratulating team SSSN, everyone took the bullhead down to Beacon. It was now evening.
