The Return of Ozpin

Oscar sat in the chair in the living room with Ruby, Nora, Jaune, and Ren surrounding him, thinking about ways he came back. Y/N stood against the wall, next to the door. He really didn't have an emotion. He didn't know what to think of Ozpin returning. He had so many questions to ask him. He decided to go upstairs and grab his ring for an explanation.

"Did he age backwards?"

"He's possessed!"

"Or maybe reincarnated!"

"Ohhh isn't it weird!!"

"It is very weird... yes.." Oscar looked down, a bit embarrassed.

"Okay! Okay! Let's take a second and remember that this is a little overwhelming for everyone" Qrow walked into the room with some coffee in his hands. The students quickly stepped back, acting innocently. They then sat on the furniture and looked at one another. Oscar looked at Ruby more than the others.

"Sorry! It's just that I've never met real huntsmen and huntresses before..."

"Well, we've never met a person with two souls, so first time's all around."

Y/N went into his room and grabbed his ring, observing it. He decided to try it on, only for it to blow sparks and pop back off of his finger. He waved his hand around as the sparks stung him a bit.

"Shit! That hurt! What the hell happened? Guess I'll just bring it to him." He said, going to the bathroom first. He didn't know what happened with the ring or why he couldn't put it on. It was easy to put it back on when he fought the MoonCrawler.

"-Show us your little party trick, kid?" Qrow asked him.

"Yeah yeah... okay.,. Just so you know...I'll still be here." Oscar than inhaled heavily and exhaled. A surge of aura went through his body. When he opened his eyes, they glowed a bit.

"It is so very good to see you again, students." Ozpin said through the body of Oscar. Everyone was so confused.

"Though I may be the one speaking, Oscar is still present mentally, he is merely handing over the controls so to speak. I'm afraid this is all very perplexing."

"And alarming, and bizarre and very hard to believe overall." Nora said as Ozpin Laughed.

"It's good to see you children have your sense of humor. Now, Miss Rose, I hate to ask this of you, but what ever happened to Mr. L/N during the fall of Beacon?" Ozpin asked her.

"W-well...  he went to fight Cinder and he ended up putting on some weird ring that gave him his own aura and semblance. He ended up dying without killing her. The last thing I can remember is that her left arm was gone and her left eye was also gone. Then I blacked out." Ruby explained. Ozpin looked down in despair, not for Ruby's sake.

"I'm.. very sorry to hear that...."

"But- a year later, he.... he came back, alive and well. I'm happy the author didn't kill him off and end the story like he said he would." Ruby smiled happily.

"Yes, that was a very good idea for him to keep the story going. Do you know what Y/N can do since he got back?" Ozpin's mood seemed to lightened up more.

"Oh! He can do a lot of cool things. He can summon weapons out of blue light and then throw them to warp to them. It's really neat. I think he can do a bit of magic too... I don't know much else. He did kill a MoonCrawler. That thing was creepy." Ruby said, thinking.

"That's... Quite interesting. Thank you. Do you know where he is currently?"

"I think he went upsta-."
