Breach and Clear

(Kept you Waiting, Huh? The last chapter of volume 2. It's gonna be cool. I'm excited. it might be short, due to it being mainly a long ass fight. so don't hate. now Without further ado, lets get goin!)

It was evening. Y/N unsheathed his sword, ready for combat. He saw his team come out of the rubble where the train crashed. He ran over.

"HEY! YOU GUYS ALRIGHT?" He asked running to them. Ruby's eyes lit up with glee. She jumped and tackle hugged Y/N. He fell to the ground with her on top of him.

"Thank Oum you're okay!! I'm so sorry I accidentally hit you off the train. I thought I lost you forever." She had a few tears in her eyes as she got off of him. Y/N got up and dusted himself off.

"It's okay, it's okay. I'm fine, but we have bigger problems right now. We can talk about it later. Right now, we need to fight." Y/N said looking towards a plethora of Grimm flooding the city. The team got their weapons ready.

"Right. I called team JNPR for backup, Sun and Neptune should be here shortly, and Ironwood is bringing some guards." Ruby said.

"Ready to save the world?" Y/N held out his hand to Ruby.

"Aw yeah." She grabbed his hand.

"Get ready!" He started spinning around, dragging Ruby into the air. Then, he threw her towards a group of Grimm. She went faster because of her semblance. She took her scythe out and spun rapidly. In a split second, the group of Grimm were turned into mince meat. Yang, Blake, and Weiss were fighting their own group of monsters. Y/N walked up to a pretty intimidating Beowolf.

"You know, I used to be scared of you, but now I think you're actually kind of cute." He said to the Beowolf. It reacted by slashing at the young student, only for its arm to be cut off. It roared.

"Hey! Don't go hurting people who compliment you. Now as I was saying..." Y/N continued. It slashed again, only for it to have its other arm chopped off.

"I said, be nice." Y/N said to it. It roared again. Then, about 5 other Beowolves appeared and surrounded the boy. Ruby noticed.

"Y/N!!" She yelled, worried about him.

"Ah, now this is an audience. I wanna show you a new trick I learned. You have to watch closely now. Ready??" He taunted the group. Y/N then threw his sword high into the air above him. It did flips and turns. The Beowolves watched the sword curiously. The Boy smiled and took out his revolver and shot the sword on its blade. The bullets ricocheted off of the sword and hit every single one of the monsters in the head, killing them.

"Hell... I can't believe that worked. I saw it in a show and I wanted to try it myself. That's some damn good luck. No way I'll be able to pull that off again." Y/N said to himself.

"WHOA, Y/N. HOW DID YOU DO THAT?! YOU WERE LIKE WOOSH AND THEN BANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANG!! THAT WAS SO COOL!!!" Ruby was awed by the 'skillful' kills Y/N just performed.

"I have no clue. It was luck. It was very cool though." Y/N replied. Soon enough, Neptune and Sun showed up, so did team JNPR. Atlas guards started pouring in. Hell, even team CFVY showed up.

"Hmph Reminds me of Super Smash bros Ultimate. Everyone is Here." Y/N said to himself. Team CFVY was really making a mess of the Grimm, killing more of them than team RWBY+_ and JNPR combined. Y/N basically found the damaged Grimm and finished them off.

"Hey, kid! Don't take my kills! I'm doing most of the damage to them!" Coco yelled at Y/N.

"Back in my world, we call them assists. Jeez, talk about toxic." Y/N said back with a laugh.
