chapter twenty one - the one thing i like about this place.

i arrived home from school, back to this dump, on the way in i slammed the door and threw my bad down onto the floor. I'm in that pissed off mood again.

"There's no need to slam the door." The man, my career sortaa told me, i don't know his name, and i don't want to know his name, i just want to get the fuck out of here.

Fuck off you freak. I wanted to say that, but somehow i managed to keep my mouth shut, and say nothing at all.

"You have your counciling in an hour, so i advise you to go and get ready."  

don't talk to me, i don't like you.

Then Matt came into the room, i coudn't help but stare at him.

"alysha, i will support you through your counciling if you want me to." matt offered,

"about that matt, i need to talk with you.. privately." I told him, he nodded and came upstairs with me, i locked my bedroom door so i wouldn't be interupted by anyone.

"What did you want to talk to me about Alysha?"  Matt asked me,

"Well the thing is i don't want to go to this counciling." I sighed.

"Alysha, i don't know about your life, but someone must think that you need it, and it can help you with your problems alot." Matt explained,

"I know Matt, but what has happened has happened, i just want to put it behind me."

"Well counciling would be good for that then."

"Matt you're not listening to me. Counciling isn't going to make my problems go away, so i don't want it at all. I don't want to talk to somebody i don't know or like forcibly against my will, and no one is listening to me and giving me my say." 

"Alysha, you can't just say you're not going to like your counciler when you haven't even met them yet? And no it won't make your problems go away, but it can help you. You can't just say you don't want to do it before you've even tried." Matt told me, he's so good at giving advice and explaining stuff, but i just don't want to do this.

"I know i'll hate it though." i pointed out,

"If you really hate it as much as say you will, i will personally make sure that you don't have to do it again, ok?" Is that a proposition?

"Okay."

"i will be right next to you through everything." He squeezed my hand,

"thanks matt." I half smiled,

"so are you getting changed or going in your school stuff?" he asked me,

"school stuff."

"Yeah it looks cute on you." he smiled.

Me and matt leave my room, and go to walk downstairs, but we get interupted.

"Matt, why were you in her room with her?" Shane empathied the word her, each time he said it,

"We were just talking, not that it has nothing to do with you Shane." Matt clenched his jaw,

"i think it does have something to do with me, because she's mine ok?" Shane told Matt, fuck off i am not his.

"I'm not yours. I don't even know you, you just seem like a freak who needs medical attention to me!" i shouted at him,

"You finally spoke to me baby. Matt what has she done with you that she hasn't with me?" Shane asked a weird irrelevant question with no meaning, because i haven't done anything with Shane, and i've only kissed Matt when i first came to this place.

"It's none of your business." Matt clenched his jaw again,

"i haven't done anything with you mate, so just leave me alone." i rolled my eyes at Shane,

"I'm your mate am i alysha? i though we were more than that, i guess you're mistaken."

okay now i'm getting even more pissed off.

"Just leave her alone!" Matt told him,

"or what? How are you going to stop me then Matt? You have no guts to do anything! Oh why don't you tell Alysha about the last girl who was fostered, what was her name? Yeah she was called Leah, so why don't you tell alysha all about her, how you-" Shane began, but got interupted by Matt, so i wouldn't hear anything else i guess?

"- Shut the fuck up! That is my past how dare you bring it up, not like your perfect yourself. I have learned since then, and i'll do anything to protect alysha from you." Matt spitted at him, before punching him around the face.

Who's Leah?

Who was she to Matt?

Did she love him?

Did he love her?

What happened to her?

i have questions that need to be answered, but i guess i'll just wait until after my counciling session.

Now i'm sat in dead silence in matts car with him, it's awkward so awkward.

But matt was being really nice to me before the shane thing, he held my hand. squeezed it even, then he told me i look cute in my school uniform.

What does that mean?

Does he like me more than  a friend?

i'm dreaming, he's way out of my league, why would he like me?

back to reality.

"Alysha sorry about before. But we're now a block away from your counciling, it will all be okay, remember i'm here for you, and i always will be.

It's stuff like that^ i don't know what he means by it, whether he's being nice or it's his way of telling me that he likes me.

We're now outside of the counciling building, at least when i'm eighteen i can refusse to go, i might even begin to count down the days until my birthday to be honest, it'll be such a relief.

My counciling appointment is due now, this should be fun - note my sarcasm.

i updated sooner horray! next update i don't know how soon it will be it depends on how busy i am, whether i get my laptop taken away etc.

thanks for reading, i'm happy to see that my reads keep going up on this book, because when i started writting this honestly i didn't even know where i got the idea from, how i was writting it, but i liked writting it, and its the oldest book of mine which is incomplete, but i'm going to try and do another 8-10 chapters before its over :).
