I poised to get up but Tony beat me to it.
"I'll get it!" He called. I heard footsteps going down the stairs, then the door open. I sat back down to finish the homework.
"Who is it?" Peter asked. I glanced up at my iPad screen. He was writing stuff down.
"I don't know. Tony got the door. Hey, what's the answer to question five?"
"You don't know how to do it?" Peter asked, raising an eyebrow.
"No, I get it," I groaned. "I'm just too lazy to show my work. And besides, I can just write a bunch of random numbers down and say I 'tried'. The teacher will take it up anyway. There's always that one kid."
"Well, let's read it together, shall we?" Peter said in a teacher-like tone. I rolled my eyes playfully.
"Tom travels—" I was cut off by a knock on my door. I swiveled my chair to see Tony come in.
"Chloe, the door's for you." He noticed Peter on FaceTime. "Hey, Pete."
Peter waved back.
"Anyway, it's a boy. Says he's been looking for you for months now?" Tony raised a questioning eyebrow. "Something you wanna tell me?"
"I have no idea who this," I put up air quotes. "'Mystery boy' is. What's he look like?"
"You'll see." Tony said simply. "Now come on, he's waiting for you."
I looked at Peter. "I'll call you back later."
"Bye."
The call ended.
I jogged down the stairs and to the door, which was closed. I opened it. The boy's whose back was to me, turned around and smiled.
"Chloe Adler?"
I stopped.
"Mason?"

Hello, my dear readers. So, that's the end of the story! Thank you for making it this far, and hope you liked it. I'm sorry to anyone who doesn't like the idea that I mostly used a play-by-play of the movie. I'm trying to add more of my own ideas and plots and dialogue in my further fanfics. Just in case there's any confusion, Mason is going to be my own OC, along with Chloe.
I will be continuing this book into a series, most likely a trilogy. I've already started on the first two or three chapters of the Infinity War book, and a few chapters of the Endgame book. I have a pretty clear idea of what I want to happen. I mean, unless you live under a rock, you all know what happens in the next two movies.
So, thank you again for reading my piece of garbage, and the next book will be out soon, under the title The Sapphire Spirit |Book Two~Avengers: Infinity War. Same cover and everything, unless I get a spark of imagination over the summer.
