Once you told your parents about the decision, they started right away with the screening progress began. Before that, you did tell them some rules for the tutor.

"I don't want some old man or woman who are stuck-up and pride off their educations. I also don't want a babysitter or someone that will hover over everything I do. And lastly, I don't want them to know about my health."

Your parents furrowed their eyebrows. "Honey, I understand your reservations but your tutor should know so they will know what to do in case something happens." your mother said.

"Well," Taehyung begins, "We can still just prep that person on what they need to do without telling them anything." he offered. You gave him a grateful look. Your parents were still hesitant but nonetheless agreed.

"Alright, we'll find someone that's capable of carrying you then." you mother chuckled. That definitely ruled out any old pretentious people.

You yawned as you waited for the last candidate of the day. You've been sitting in these interviews for the whole week without really finding any connection with the people. They're all very nice with great teaching experience, but it seemed that studying was all that they did. You wanted someone with life struggles and great stories to tell. Maybe that's ridiculous but you wanted someone with the life you wish you had with countless adventures. Someone wild.

"He's late." your father grunted as he looked at his watch.

"It's raining outside, give him some time honey." you mother said, rubbing his back and planted a small kiss on his cheek. At the touch of her kiss, his shoulders dropped into a more comfortable position.

"Y/N, go take a nap if you're tired. Don't push yourself too hard." Taehyung said. He was also present while looking over the new song Yoongi sent over. Lead singers had it tough, you thought.

"I'm okay." you smiled. "Besides, I want to see who might be potentially teaching me." Just then, the doorbell rang. You jumped a little because it was the only sound filling the house.

"I'll get it." said Taehyung. Your twin walked down the hallway and your heard the door opening, following by someone apologizing.

"I'm so sorry for being late." the man spoke. He sounded young. He left his umbrella outside so it wouldn't stain the house.

"It's okay. Please come this way." Taehyung spread one arm to show the man which way to go. Your twin sense was acting up, meaning that Taehyung felt uneasy. He was fine a second ago, could it have something to do with the stranger? He emerged from the hallway into the living room and a wave of nostalgia flooded you. But as far as you can tell, you two have never met before today. There was that look in his eyes too, one of recognitions but he quickly looked away.

Your father stood up and gestured for the stranger to sit down in front of you. He did, but not before bowing to your parents and handing them a folder, presumably his resume and portfolio. While your parents looked over the folder, you stared at the body language of the stranger. His fingers fiddled with each other to signal that he was nervous. He was probably not that much older than you, maybe younger than Hoseok actually. The sweater vest was horrendous on its own but on him, somehow it seemed fitting, along with his ruffled hair and rimmed glasses.

"Mr. Kim, you have a very impressive resume considering your age." you father, clearly impressed.

"Thank you very much, but please call me Namjoon." the man said, smiling shyly. You caught a quick sight of his dimples, but he cleared his throat and the smile was gone.

"Well Namjoon, I see that you graduated early at the top of your class. I never knew anyone with an IQ of 148." your father chuckled. "But I do see that you're only enrolled in graduate school part-time. Maybe I ask why?" You flashed your father a disapproving look. Even though it was a valid question for the position he's applying for, something tells you that Namjoon felt uncomfortable.

"Oh, actually my mother is sick so I spend a lot of time taking care of her." he answered, rubbing the back of his neck. The room became even more silent. Even Taehyung dropped his pencil in the back.

"Oh I'm so sorry. But will taking this job puts too much pressure on you?" your mother asked.

"No. Not at all Mrs.Kim. My mother wouldn't want me to just sit around and do nothing. She told me to go do what I love and that's teaching someone something new." Namjoon answered. You found yourself smiling at how genuine he sounded. He talked some more about his accomplishments and his mother. The sparkle in his eyes showed that he really cares about his mother. You could easily guess that aside from his love of teaching, he could use the money for her treatment.

"Thank you for coming. It was a pleasure meeting you." your father said while shaking hands with Namjoon.

"Likewise, sir. I hope to hear from you soon."

"I'll show you out." you said. He nodded and followed. Taehyung kept his eyes on the man the whole time. "Stay warm." you said as he exited through the door. He turned to you one more time and bowed. When his head came up again, you caught sight of his eyes and that nostalgia hits again. Your body froze, not out of fear, but in the memories of that night in the rain. His unique eyes, the dimples, the feeling of his hoodie. He closed the door before you could say anything, as if he knew you knew.

He was the stranger.
