CHAPTER 11

Joy almost dropped the flower... lucky Irene nudge her back to reality... urging her to go out from behind the tree right away... she almost forgot that she's working, when she saw the two appeared, she wanted to yell at them but she just couldn't. this is a job that Irene has offered wholeheartedly, and she doesn't want to disappoint Irene so she did as she told... she feels as if though she's been mocked by him... the more she sees how happy Sohyun is the more she feels pain... she just couldn't believe her eyes, that she fell for someone like him...

as Sohyun approaches near the table Joy appeared her knees trembles weakly, she wanted to run away but she just couldn't what could be worse than this? She thought... but when Sungjae and Sohyun approaches the middle of the garden where the table is set, Joy suddenly felt dizzy the whole world spins around uncontrollably, making her wobble on her knees, the next thing she knew she was falling down to the ground,

"no no no no!" Irene muttered in shock,

Sungjae and Sohyun thought this was part of the gig but she's not moving anymore... Irene run to the scene and keep apologetically bowing towards Sungjae and Sohyun... she and the rest of the team tries to wake her up but she doesn't wake up, Sungjae felt annoyed, what a convenient way to surprise Sohyun this is indeed a chaos...

"take the mask off maybe that person ran out of air" Sohyun uttered anxiously...

Irene immediately takes off the mask Sungjae's eyes widens in horror... it's Joy... without a thought, he immediately ran towards her and leans down to reach her, he encircles his arms on her neck looked at her with concern. Irene felt confuse in the moment, she watches Sungjae in confuse so as Sohyun... she wanted to ask why would he be acting too concern but it happened too fast, he was already scooping her up and he immediately heads to the elevator carrying her in bridal style with worries written all over his face, Irene hurdled towards them in the elevator, and Irene called one of her staff to proceed with the surprise.. It was a disaster! But never the less business is business so they still need to resumed without her and without the mascot, she knew too well this was her fault the mascot costume was too big for Joy she has asthma... she never knew this would end up like this... she keeps tapping her foot while biting her nails... at the same time she wanted to ask Sungjae why? he's too gentleman to care for her staff like that, does he even know her? he even left Sohyun alone just to bring Joy to the hospital,  while on their way out Sungjae has no time to go to the parking area the only thing he did was head to the nearest exit which was the lobby, and a taxi was waiting outside, he didn't care who called it he immediately jumped in with joy on his side, while Irene went on the front passenger seat...

"to the nearest hospital Ahjussi palli!" she uttered,

on their way to the hospital, he totally forgot that he left Sohyun wondering to herself... his mind is clouded with concerns for Joy his heart keeps beating too fast in tense of fear, fear of losing her... yet he doesn't know why? is he this naive to not even notice what he feels? yet still he doesn't know why he would feel this way for her... it's too intense for him... he keeps looking at her lips it turned from the most kissable lips he'd seen to pale cherry red to almost bluish violet, he keeps on holding her hands he can see her finger nails are also turning blue, he couldn't stop himself from kissing her forehead while he keeps uttering

"please! please! don't do this to me... I want you"

Irene from the front seat didn't even notice what was happening behind the car, she was too concentrated on the road to the hospital, but she saw him kissing her forehead on the front view mirror, she didn't even mind because she's too focused on her worries this is her fault, she thought...

Joy woke up, she can still feel her head spinning slightly with a blurry vision, after a few seconds her vision came back to normal, she looked around in to see an unfamiliar room, and when she tried to lift her right hand she felt someone is holding it down, she look to the side of her bed and she sees him sleeping with his hand holding hers, she's too confuse as to why would he be there with her, then her emotions kicked in, she couldn't help but to smile looking at him sleeping like a baby, so innocent she thought... and for what seems like forever he finally woke up, seeing her still staring at him, how can this person looks so beautiful? he thought, she smiled at him, for a moment and that moment she totally forgot that she was angry at him, she felt ready to forget everything that he did, he smiled back cooing more to her side he kisses the back of her palm, whilst pressing his face on it, feeling ashamed of what he did to her... and Oh.. he knew what he did, he knew it was wrong,
