"where is she?" Jaebum arrives at the police station where Joy was escorted for violating the quarantine rules which costs almost ₩10,000,000.00, but Irene arrived before Jaebum which allowed her to take care of the papers and the fine,

"Eonnie I told you I still have some mon-"

"no, I already paid for it do not ask me where I got the money Sooyounga"

"oh my god" finally, Jaebum sees her and immediately grabs a hold of her as he hugs her and kisses her all over the face "where have you been??"

"we're... uh...-"

"she was with me but I told her not to go down the cafe that's where they caught her" Irene almost stuttered but manages to say it without hints of suspicion, Jaebum turned to look at Joy again and kissed her on the cheeks, Irene just rolled her eyes at the scene she doesn't like Jaebum that much.

"Sooyoung you can stay with me for the meantime" Irene shrugs but she knew Jaebum is pissed

"No! you have done enough damage noona! we are going home" he declares holding Joy's hand

The one of the police officers approaches them "May I know who's the guardian?" the police ask them placing some paper in the table, Irene was about to talk but Jaebum was quick to answer

"me" he uttered making the police confuse

"But sir it says here Miss Irene?" the police raises his eyebrows making Jaebum frown and the police continued "it would be best if Ms. Irene sign the release papers. Since, she's the one who paid the fines"

"No please let me! I am her fiancé" he uttered making Irene's eyes grow wider in annoyance.

after signing all the papers joy requested Jaebum to wait for her in the car, she wanted to talk to Irene in private before leaving

"eonnie..."

"I don't even know what you were doing in that house Sooyoung? what were you thinking? huh?" Irene answered crossing both of her arms in her chest

"I'm sorry eonnie but please believe me. I was caught in the middle when these things started and, and.." she stuttered only to making Irene feel more suspicious about it

"never mind! but Sooyoung... please? do not ever forget what he did to you in the past." Irene uttered giving a warry look placing her hand on Joy's shoulder...

"thank you eonnie! I don't know what to say... I promise I would pay for it" Irene chuckled shaking her head

"don't worry about the money sooyoung I've got it covered." Irene muttered swallowing the invisible lump on her throat suddenly she feels uneasy but Joy being joy she didn't notice anything; she was only smiling at her in response and hugging her before leaving.

"I'm sorry" Joy uttered giving her best puppy eyes while Jaebum is driving the car silently she can see how pissed he is...

"oppa will you please talk to me?"

"I don't know what to say babe, how could you be so st-" he stopped and he exhales in annoyance "never mind" he uttered and continued to drive peacefully heading toward his apartment

"oppa why can't I stay at my apartment?"

"why? don't you want to stay with me?"

"no, I mean look at you..." Joy pointed his white gown and continued to talk "would you be there? It's obviously that you won't because you are busy" Joy huffs and he sighs turning the car abruptly
