CHAPTER 23

...

after waiting for an hour Joy decided to give up, she sighs checking her phone again for the nth time, he hasn't replied yet, she's expecting that he would come home just like the usual but he's not... she sighs again staring at the food that she has made she prepared it for him,

"too bad for you, you have to be in a fridge since no one's going to eat you tonight" she muttered at the food as she wraps it into a container maybe he could eat it when he comes home... home? She shakes her head for thinking too much!

after neatly covering and packing the food in the fridge she slums her body down the bed, she can't stop thinking about Sungjae, she has this feeling that something terrible is about to happen it's like her intuition heightened at the moment she sigh again for the nth time she misses him... she rolled out the bed again, she forgot that she's still wearing the apron that she used for cooking, she takes it off and threw it on the dirty laundry's basket, heading to the shower, she needs to relax he'll probably be home tomorrow she thought... the night went on but no Sungjae appeared, Joy finally decided to sleep it was around 1am when she remembers that she still has work in the morning...

the whole night Sungjae came to a blur for Sungjae he stirred and rolls over to the side of the feeling his arms around her waist, he smiles he pulled her closer and kisses her neck,

"hmmmm you smell so...." he paused realizing that she's not Joy his eyes darted to the walls it was filled with expensive and thick curtains blinding the rays of lights from the outside and the room's too big, then he realizes whom he was with he immediately pushed himself out of the surface of the bed standing away from it, then he sees Sohyun sprawls across the other side of the bed and seems to be awaken by his sudden scare

"what the hell!!!" he shouted, seeing himself butt naked so as Sohyun who tried to pull the quilt to cover her body, she didn't even look at him, probably she was too ashamed of what happened? she was too embarrassed,

"what happened?!!!" Sungjae yelled at Sohyun as he starts to wear his boxers and his pants, she didn't answer after wearing all his clothes he walks out the room and slams the door shut leaving Sohyun crying in the bed...

After slamming the door shot as hard as he could, he walks down the hallway shaking his head, as soon as he opens the main door Sohyun's mother appeared from the other end surprise to see him there

"o..o.oooh!" she stuttered in shock from the other side of the door Sungjae's widen eyes staring at her in shock expression too, he bowed right away in an awkward manner averting his eyes to the floor and walk out without saying any word to her, Sohyun mother immediately heads to Sohyun's room

"so, what happened? can you explain it to me?" her mother asks smirking as she leans on the wall beside the door, Sohyun rolls her eyes at her mother and wipes her tears away while she was standing up, she shouted at her mother

"YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED! Don't pretend like you don't know!" and heads to her walk-in closet and shuts the door...

after driving to near to Joy's apartment Sungjae's heart beats faster, he didn't know what to do... he slams both of his hands to his steering wheel as he curses to himself, running it back to his face in an abruptly manner

"such a stupid idiot!!!" he screams to himself not knowing what to do, as he tries to recollect himself, he knew he would be bound away from her life...

"think think!" he told himself while trying to remember what happened last night but he doesn't have any memory any of it... all he knows he just slept with Sohyun
