CHAPTER 47

Sungjae drives slowly as he intertwines his fingers with hers, his smile doesn't fade so Joy's. They both smiles like an idiot without even talking to each other. It's a moment where she feels so safe and everything feels like home. On the other side of the cars eat Sungjae he feels so blissfully in content, it's like everything he needs is right there, right there where she belongs to. She's the only woman he needs in his life the love of his life. They reach a crossroad where a red lights stop them, he glances towards her she's still smiling. He reaches out to kiss she kisses back in the same passion then suddenly a car behind them honks again louder this time both of them broke the kiss laughing.

"I swear I didn't hear that"

"eyes on the road Mr. Yook," she said laughing, connecting her phone to the stereo playing her song. 

"never be the same huh?" he chuckles she couldn't stop admiring him from a very close distance but yet it feels so far away but for now she want's to feel like before, a new life with him. Though, she doesn't want to go back to reality yet. not just yet, just for now she thought. She is ready to feel loved by this man she been in love for all these years, he was and has always have been the one. She promises herself after this rendezvous trip with him she will forever end it. She still couldn't hurt Sami and Sami deserves better, she deserves to have a family, and that's not her sadly she knows the happiness she's feeling right now is only limited. She sighs softly not wanting to let him feel any uneasiness of what she has in her thoughts, she holds tighter between their fingers she squeezes his big hands which the latter secures hers more.

Jaebum was not really in the hospital. He planned a trip to his hometown, where his parents lives, his mother and his stepdad, he despises the idea that he might be seeing Kang there, he wishes hard that he would not see his brother's face there or he might break it with his fist. If it's not have been all for him he wouldn't be dealing in  this situation. He would have had the freedom of marrying Joy without any guilt. He huffs as he grips tighter on the steering wheel he must do this before the news breaks to his parents.

He vividly remembers when he was a child before Kang's father married his mother, he kneeled before Jaebum at the altar asking him to be his, Jaebum was a smart kid, back then he knew what makes his mother happy it was Mr. Song his step-dad, they had a beautiful relationship, not before Kang appeared out of nowhere claiming that he was Mr. Song's son, and it was revealed that Mr. Song was still married to his dying mother Kang's mother. Everything flipped faster than a coin, Jaebum's life became miserable from that day on, he was not angry with Kang but he became angry with his step-father until Kang's mother died. 

Jaebum's mother re-married Kang's father again for the second time saying that it would be for the best they just had to renew their bows. Since that day Jaebum's relationship with his stepfather had broken into million pieces. the only next best thing was he had a brother Kang, Kang became everything for him, he loved him like a brother not until when he felt and noticed how Mr. Song was treating Kang, it was totally different from how he treated Jaebum, Kang was his son indeed, he was the favorite son in the house, even his mother loved Kang more than him. then Suddenly his thoughts flashes back.

Flashback

"I don't like that woman son..."

"I am not asking for your permission Mr. Song!"

"I can ruin you. we all know what you did!"
