I said yes when you disagreed
You said no when I said, "I insist."
You stayed calm when I became a mad beast
But got paranoid when I hushed for hours and a minute

You are tall and I am little
You cough when I giggle
I frown when you chuckle
But smile when I snicker

We do different things and it's sometimes displeasing
But the differences attract me to you like magnets chasing
We don't have many similarities and it's annoying
But this is my most favorite compelling

I looked up and saw you staring down at me
I backed away when you started leaning close to me
I stood straight and still when you knelt in front of me
And accepted the ring when you gave it to me
